Really? Is a Samsung S22 Ultra modern enough for you? What a person you
are:participates at forums in order to give unhelpful arrogant answers.
And the irony is that you actually show ignorance: "modern phones have

Hi Philippe,
Did SDT version 5.11.28 resolve the conflict with your AirPlay Bridge

Version 5.11.28 of SDT provides the same configuration options as
before. As a reminder there are settings for SDT at both the server
and the player levels.

SERVER LEVEL
The weather location (station) is set on the LMS web interface
"Advanced" tab.

PLAYER LEVEL
The LMS web interface "Player" tab is where you can select what weather
elements to display on each player.
NOTE: This is for legacy players like Transporter, Boom, SB2, SB3 etc.
In both cases you select SuperDateTime from the pull down on the tab to
see the SDT settings available.

For newer players like Controller, Touch, Radio you can use the Custom
Clock applet and Custom Clock Helper plugin to setup screen savers with
the SDT items you want to display.

If you are still having difficulty, please reply with more detail of
what is not working. I will try to help you get SDT working for your
specific setup.

Yup I eventually figured out how to find and delete them in the Alexa
app, that app is so clunky. I'll see how it goes from here. At least
this time it kept the same UUID when I relinked the skill [emoji3]

Not all modern smart phones have an SD card slot, such as the iPhone.

The point is if there is sufficient storage space, transferring songs to
your phone would eliminate the need for a more complex VPN setup and
using mobile data. I use this method to listen to my music in the car
and it is useful when not in mobile phone coverage. It does not have my
entire collection, but more than enough to keep me happy.

They are deletable from your Alexa mobile app. The only reason they
appeared at all is because you changed your uuid.

The reason it unlinked for you must be related to an ngrok drop. Maybe
ngrok is finally time-limiting the free service, who knows.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)

2022-11-28 Thread dolodobendan

I updated to 1.1.0.11 because I wanted to fix some issues with
interrupted playback (random stutters).

The non-static binary for 1.1.0.11 kept crashing so I switched to
squeeze2raop-linux-x86_64-static which works as expected. I enabled
logging and waited for a stutter:

Pi3 & 4 have 4 cores. If one core is running at 100% then CPU loading
overall is 25%.

LMS is single threaded so it runs on a single core but transcoding
applications will run on other cores and may in fact be mulithreaded
(i.e use more than one core)

You should use a tool which shows individual core loading to see if any
core is 100% loaded and to be sure what process is taking up time.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] piCorePlayer, bt stutters when players synchronized

2022-11-28 Thread gian

I think that the stuttering comes from trying to keep the players in
sync.

Issuing top, I see CPU running at 24% with python3
/usr/local/bin/pcp-btspeaker-daemon.py debug.

Could it be a CPU problem?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] SuperDateTime Screensaver v5.11.0 - Date/Time/Weather/Sports/Stocks

2022-11-28 Thread fsoares

The settings in the SDT plugin used to allow for choosing the type/items
of weather data to be shown.
But now (v. 5.11.28) only location can be chosen. What happened? Is
there a way to have those choices again?
