I had everything working with the updated plug, and about a week ago or so my Squeezebox 3 stopped showing the weather data. Hadn't made any changes to the Server or anything. I just get the weather channel icon on the left-hand screen of the display. How can I troubleshoot? John, Thanks for the suggestions. That got it working. So I've figured out how to get it working on one player for one format. Question: is there a key where I can learn about all the custom config coding? I'd like to be able to have just one of my players be affected by the eq, no matter the file type. And I'd like to learn about the options for transcoding etc. I see in the other strings that you can do different bit and sample rates etc. Thanks! Ok, I think I'm getting close. I'm stumped by the file types. The documentation is not clear on this issue. I have almost exclusively Apple Lossless files. But the options are greyed-out in my file types section. See attached. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Inguz and 7.7.2?
I'm trying to get Inguz working with 7.7.2. So far I've installed it, updated the plugin.pm file per the thread I found, updated the silverlight.js files. Looking at the custom convert file, my squeezeboxes are listed there via the correct mac address. I can get access to it via both my squeezebox classic and touch. But in working with it, I can't get it to do anything, no audible difference. And nothing is being written to the log file. Anyone have suggestions or know if this is possible? Thanks! I'm looking for a way to always sync two players in the morning, no matter whether I had them previously synced or not. I am running both The Synchronizer and Sync Options plug ins. Is there any way to do this? Thanks for the suggestions. I just got my squeezebox today, and it's great. But adding that dll file didn't help. In fact, when I did that, I got an error message about a pncrt.dll file missing as well. I looked that one up and put it in the same directory. Now I don't get an error message, but it still doesn't play. I'm going to email the web people at the radio station to request they update their real server, but in the meantime I'd appreciate any other suggestions. I'm getting my Squeezebox this week, and am playing with softsqueeze and some plugins to make sure I hit the ground running. I can't seem to get this stream to work: http://wgnradio.com/listen/liveWGN.ram Can someone let me know if it is possible, and if so what I need to do? When I put the address in the tune in field, it looks like it's connecting, but then it just doesn't play. I'm running slimserver on a Windows 2000 machine. Other RM streams I've tested (both BBC and other) have worked fine.
