[SlimDevices: Plugins] Home Assistant media_player playlist URLs stopped working
Hi, I have HomeAssistant set up with some button presets that pass URLs to the LMS media player integration. It used to work with radio station URLs as well as Rhapd protocol URLs for Napster. Recently the radio station URL shortcuts stopped working. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to troubleshoot this? This markup used to work, now only the rhapd protocol entries work. I'm running LMS 8.0.0 on a new Ubuntu 20.04 machine. Shairtunes2 v0.111.0 appears to be installed correctly and my Squeezeboxes show up in Airplay players. When I try to connect, I get an error on the Squeezebox display: can't connect to server for: airplay:// stream.wav I don't see any errors in the logs. The ufw firewall is not enabled. Do you have any advice on where I can start troubleshooting this? The error on the Squeezebox display is not giving me many search results! Hi, I had been using TuneBlade on Windows to airplay the system audio to ShairTunes on LMS on Ubuntu. It worked great. Recently my Ubuntu server died and I rebuilt it. Now TuneBlade to ShairTunes does not work any more. The TuneBlade version has not changed. The ShairTunes version is 0.60. Some observations: - ShairTunes does work with a real iOS device (iPad mini). - TuneBlade says it is streaming bytes to ShairTunes. The TuneBlade developer says that the log files don't show anything wrong. - The play timer runs in LMS when I "connect" with TuneBlade - No metadata appears in LMS when I connect with TuneBlade, unlike when I connect with iOS. Do you have any idea what the problem could be? I've noticed that the graphic files I posted don't always get loaded - if there are graphics missing (e.g., wireless icon, play/pause indicator), you can try clearing the cache on your device (it's in the settings, wherever the custom clock settings are, I believe under screen/screensavers/custom clock settings). Thanks, svrpowercntl works for me. I really wanted to be able to restart Squeezebox Server if I need to, and once in a while shutdown the whole system if I need to unplug it. You are right about the low power draw of the Sheevaplug. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Is it possible to execute linux commands from the Squeezebox?
Are there any plugins available that will execute a linux command on the Squeezebox Server from the player's UI? For example, could I have an option in my player's ui to restart my server, which would execute the command shutdown -r now ? Greg, thanks for this plugin. I am another 7.3 user (my server is a Linkstation NAS which doesn't support 7.4). I tried to replace the Plugin.pm file in the .PAR file with the new version. It works a little better (I saw a temperature) but most of the info is scrambled or missing.
