Now squeezeslave only listens to the server on the Powerbook and I can't switch back to the server on the squeezeplug (Goflex) anymore. Is there a way to switch betwenn servers, preferably through the menu (Main - extras - music source)? Hello! Running Squeezeplug with Squeezebox Server 7.6.1 and Squeezeslave 1.2-311 on a Goflex Net wired to a Time Capsule, and a Powerbook with OS X 10.5 and Logitech media Server 7.7.1 r33735 connected wirelessly to the same Time Capsule. I want squeezelsave on the Goflex to listen to the server on the Powerbook. Squeezeslave can see both servers: Code: root@squeezeplug:~#squeezeslave --findservers squeezeplug:9000 (192.168.1.11) powerbook:9000 (192.168.1.6) However i can not get squeezeslave to listen to the media server on the powerbook. On the Plug's squeezeserver gui when I choose Main Menu - Extras - Music Source - Powerbook I get redirected to the web gui of the powerbook's media server (http://192.168.1.6:9000/?player=00%3A00%3A00%3A00%3A00%3A01) but I cannot choose squeezeslave as player. Killing and restarting squeezeslave with the IP argument works fine. Code: root@squeezeplug:~# squeezeslave 192.168.1.6 Is there a way to choose the server / music source from the web gui? Thanks! Hi Shutting down the server (the machine) from the Squeezebox/SrvrPowerCtrl web interface works fine. However doing the same from the Logitech Android app does not. It simply says Ladevorgang läuft (charging in progress) but does not run the shutdown command. When I shut it down from the web interface, the Logitech Android app says: Shutting down server in 10 seconds. Modifying the sudoers file as suggestet here http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=631688postcount=1779 did not help. My system: Server - Goflex Net - www.squeezeplug.eu - - Linux version 2.6.38.8-squeezeplug - - Debian Version 6.0.3 - - Squeezebox Server Version: 7.6.1 - r33110 - Server Power Control v20111028.140356 Player - Squeezeslave on the same machine (part of Squeezeplug) Remote - Squeezebox Controller (for Android, from Logitech) V. 1.1.3 Edit: Remote Shutdown/Rebooting works when using the (non-free) Android app Squeeze Commander, which on the other hand does not display any message when SrvrPowerCtrl performs an action.
