Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Auto Dim Display no longer working

AutoDim v2.1.12 was working for me (Mac) until I updated LMS to the
current v8.

Any ideas there, Michael Herger?

Well, there's quite a bit iPeng has to do to identify your remote
server. It especially has to wait until your players show up to know
where to switch to, there really is no way to speed this up. For me it
usually takes about 10s or so, how long is it for you?

You can of course switch manually by simply selecting the other server
 under Music Sources.

I do have my home network IP address added to iPeng so it's eventually
found. Maybe I'm just being a bit impatient. When I'm home, the
'internal' server IP is automatically added.

GREAT APP! Thanks...

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2010-12-07 Thread Eric Seaberg

I've been accessing my SlimServer remotely since I got the system 11/06
and it works GREAT! Now that I've got iPeng on my iPhone, I'm able to
control players at home and the SB3 sitting in my office.

I have noticed, however, that iPeng does take some time to distinguish
that I'm not on my home network anymore. Eventually, it will find my
SlimServer on its own. Am I missing something in the setup? Should it
be easier than this to switch between servers?

Thanks... GREAT APP!!

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze automatic startup at login for Mac

2008-12-02 Thread Eric Seaberg

Works for me, but not the way you're doing it. When you initially
started SoftSqueeze did you have it create an icon on your desktop?

Well, go to your SYSTEM PREFS and open ACCOUNTS. Highlight your
account name on the left side and click the tab labeled LOGIN ITEMS.
At the bottom of the new window that opens, click on the '+'. You may
be asked to enter your ADMIN PASSWORD. Otherwise, follow the windows
and CLICK on SqueezeSoft, adding it to your startup items list.

Now try restarting and see what happens

[SlimDevices: Plugins] XM Radio Plugin w/ Fishbone... NOT!

2008-07-19 Thread Eric Seaberg

I'm running SqueezeCenter Version: 7.1 - 21854 and prefer using Fishbone
as my interface. Selecting XM Radio in the left window as a source,
it WANTS to bring up my station list, but immediately changes to the
player window... the same one that's on the right side of the page.

Also, switching the interface to 'default' in Firefox 3.01 puts the
browser into a spin with this:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding.
You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script
will complete.

Script: http://10.0.0.10:9000/html/SqueezeJS/Base.js?r=21854:22

I will try doing the same thing with Safari as my browser and report
back.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Auto Display for v.7

I have come to live and die by AUTO DISPLAY, especially for the SB3

it, the link for the v.7 version doesn't work.

How soon before there an official release of the plug-in?
