Thanks Erland, all works fine now. Thx again Eralnd for looking into this. I have attached a small file with 2 dummy albums that represent my environment. I use the default skin for the SBS, the server running on a WHS. Music is also stored on The WHS. I have tried the custom menus on this cofiguration, it stiil won't sort the composers according to the composersort field. BTW perhaps it would be uselful to build a small test environment similar to the one I've made and publish it on the forum so everyone can test the plugin behaviour using a defined environment. I would be glad to help to do this. Sorry for the Typo, it is COMPOSER as you have guessed correctly. And yes, when I look into the details of a song with view tags, I see the COMPOSERSORT field correctly. Thanks very much Erland for looking into this. All tags are displayed correctly. Here are some screenshots: SqueezeboxSettings shows the settings of the web interface Tags shows the tags for this particular album ViaStandardMenus shows the result of the album display when navigating there via the standard build in menus. It shows correctly TRACKNUM. TITLE COMPOSER as expected. ViaCustomMenus shows the same result when navigating there via Custom menus: TRACKNUM. TITLE COMPOSER von ARTIST aus ALBUM. The displays on the Player and also the Duet Controller are ok, I think they're not influenced by this setting anayway, it is only for the web interface. Finally I have attached the version info screen. Hi, in the Interface Tab from Server settings I have chosen TRACKNUM. TITLE - COMPOSER This works fine in any standard menu: 1. Concerto Brandebourgeois No.1 - BWV 1046 - 01 - Sans indication de tempo - Johann Sebastian Bach But if I use custom menues, I see: 1. Concerto Brandebourgeois No.1 - BWV 1046 - 01 - Sans indication de tempo - Johann Sebastian Bach von Trevor Pinnock aus 6 Brandenburg Concertos; 4 Orchestra Suites [Pinnock], Disc 1 How can I change this? I don't want this extra album info because it clutters the single track list. Sorry if I have not been explicit enough. I'm using the squeezebox server (Ver. 7.5.3)on a Tranquil WHS feeding a touch. The web interface runs on a Lenovo W701 notebook in the home net. If I'm using your custom browse menus (Thanks very much for them, I have build several to browse my classical music) to navigate to an album, I always see this long version of the titels: 1. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Browse, Classical Albums
Hello, I managed to build a menu which shows my classical albums only (about 800). The menu shows the cover and the album title. I would like the menu to show the composer as well, after the title. I'm stuck with that and see no way to get there. Also when I click the album, I see the titles of the songs and the album they are from. Again, I would like to see the composer also. How to do this? Hi, i'm new here and have set up my squeezebox duet in my home net without major problems. But I would like to upgrade some of the browser menus, so I installed custom browser. Also without problems, I have now a new browse menu item composers in my web interface. But it is not enabled on the controller. How do I do this?
