I will look at that more in-depth next time. I did check it and noted
that I had about 75+ instances of one process running under LMS but I
can’t remember exactly which process it was. I do believe it was related
to the Shairplay plugin.

I have the DS918+ running 6.2.2-24922. Odd thing is when I went to work,
it wasn’t working still and CPU was 99%. I just got home and the CPU is
at 12% and i can open the web GUI for LMS and stream music again. No
idea why it stopped and started working but for now, problem solved.

Thank you for your reply.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Synology 7.9.2 packages

2019-10-28 Thread MikeyB3649

Hello All,

I have had my LMS set up on my Synology NAS for many months and aside
from an issue getting Shairplay to work, it's been working flawlessly
for me until today. Today, I went to stream music using my iPeng app,
and couldn't find any players. I checked my Synology NAS and noted that
the CPU was running at 100%. When checking the services, LMS was using
over 85% of the CPU. I stopped the plugin and it went back down to 8%. I
started it again and it shot back up to 100%. I tried updating to the
newest version, 7.9.1-168.0027, but as soon as it installed, it shot
back up to 100%. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the plugin, and that
seems to have solved the CPU usage issue, however, I am now stuck at the
the loading screen for LMS with the words "Loading Logitech Media
Server..." and a spinning wheel. I can't find any players in iPeng,
despite all of my player being online and reachable via IP address
(running piCorePlayer 5.0, FWIW). I'm at a total loss and am not very
good at troubleshooting these types of issues, but great at following
directions.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
