[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer / SBS 7.7
I have been using BBC iPlayer for some time, and have now loaded SBS 7.7 (on Mac OS 10.7.2). A slightly annoying change is that when browsing through programs, using either the Duet Controller (using the + key) , or the Web Interface, the program description field is no longer shown as a separate field. Instead, the description can be seen embedded in the URL field, but is all mixed up with %20 codes. Interestingly, the BBC iPlayer Extra plugin does not have the same problem. It used to be that if I was browsing through programs on BBC iPlayer, and I pushed + before choosing play on the Duet Controller, a window would pop up with entries on separate lines:- Add to End Play Next Play Save to Favourites Title URL Description If I moved the cursor to the Description line, the description would (slowly) scroll across the screen. Now .. It is as above, except that the Description line is missing, so i can't see what the programme is about. If I move the cursor to the URL line, it scrolls though the URL, and I can see that the description is embedded in this, but it is hard to read, and takes a long time to scroll there, eg:- URL: iplayer://aod?ms=http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/4/mtis/stream/b016wx49dur=900icon=http://node1.bbcimg.co.uk/iplayer/images/episode/b016wxts_178_100.jpgtitle=Farming%20Today%3A%2008%2F11%2F2011desc=MPs%20deliver%20their%20verdict%20on%20the%20impact%20of%20HS2%20on%20the%20landscape%20and%20rural%20communities. The first attachment BBC iPlayer is a screen shot of the Web Interface for the same program. Previously, there would have been another section at the bottom with the description. The second attachment iPlayer Extra shows the Description information. [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer Repeats
Hi, Does anyone know why my BBC iPlayer repeats programs? If I choose one it repeats it. If I stack up two or three programs to play it repeats the first one when it has finished rather than to move on to the next.
