[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer Listen Again Lost
Hi, I have lost BBC iPlayer Listen Again channels since sometime after 19.00 UK time yesterday. I am now getting an error message '410 gone'. Live BBC channels are unaffected. Since losing the channels LMS has flaggged up that an update (Version 8.0.0) is available, which I have installed. This has made no difference. I'm using iPlayer version 1.6.9, and I have -http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/betarelease-repo.xml- installed (at least, it's listed in my plugins at the bottom of the page, and I don't think this has changed since yesterday). Just the biggest of thank-yous to bpa and mrw for sorting this - marital harmony is now restored. When the problem first appeared a few days ago, I went through my one of periodic 'should I be changing to a different streaming solution' ruminations. But there's nothing else out there that touches LMS for versatility, and it's thanks to you two and others that makes it such a gem. Same problem here - 404 not found message on iPlayer Listen Again. Looking at my plugins I see a message saying "bpa's BBCiPlayer 1.4.10 is in sunset support - please upgrade to V1.5.* using betarelease-repo.xml". I seem to be using a V1.5.4 test release. Could this be the problem and, if so, how do I get the beta release? Many thanks for any help on this. Sorry if this is a numpty question, but is this the right thread to find out how to get IPlayer Listen Again from now on? My LMS IPlayer settings are for AAC, Flash AAC, Flash MP3 and Windows Media, and all I'm getting is a voice message on the Listen Live channels saying that the format is now deleted, or some such. I've seen today's BBC blog pertaining to Audio Factory, but I don't understand the implications for the Triode software. Will it be possible to get IPlayer again, particularly Listen Again? I've tried reading this latest part of the thread but the technicalities have defeated me. Any enlightenment will be most gratefully received. Upgraded to 7.3.1 this morning and installed iPlayer - it works a treat. Many thanks Triode and everyone else for a brilliant plugin. One small point - I had an error message during the 7.3.1 install that part of the existing 7.0 couldn't be deleted, which I decided to ignore after three re-tries. Anyone else had this problem, if indeed it is a problem?
