Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC Radio Rights Restrictions

2021-06-29 Thread Yatsushiro

I also live in France, and normally start my day with the 'Today' progam
on R4 via the excellent Sounds plugin.

This mornings program was littered with the rights restriction message,
at seemingly random times, so I too suspect a wrong button press or two,
altough there was a fair amount of sport on the program, what with
Wimbledon and a football match tonight.

Thanks for replying.

Had a try tonight, trying to play an audio file that was stored on the
phone. Same symptoms, phone is playing audio, what was previously
playing on the PcP device stops, but no audio output.

Player error log is:

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] announce: ShairTunes2W - Airtunes on LMS (forked version with Windows support)

2020-05-05 Thread Yatsushiro

Hi

I have tried a search about this problem, bit no success.

I have been happily using this plugin on my LMS for a number of years,
as my wife is an iPhone user and likes to 'cast' youtube video music,
radio plays etc from her phone to one of the three current RPi players.
All was working well until I built a new server on an RPi4 running
Ubuntu Server 20.04. Since then, my wife can cast to each player, but no
sound is forthcoming. Her phone is playing, whatever was being played on
the player being cast to stops, but no sound...

The plugin version is v0.108.2, The plugin is running and all 3 players
are recognised on the plugin settings page. With loggoing set to 'error'
this is the contents of the shairtunes2-b8-27-eb-e2-49-6e.log
file:

Code:

[18:24:29.997692] http_parse:1119 Request failed, bad header

And this is the corresponding section of the server.log file:

Code:

In which case I apologise; I have recently rebuilt my LMS installation,
and obviously forgot to include the MAI plugin (so not my old eyes, just
my ageing brain)

Thanks for your hard work, I've now got my wife using LMS on her iPhone,
with your skin.

I think the issue is that the -i- icon is no longer present in either
desktop or mobile skin?

(unless it's my old eyes which can no longer see it, in which case I
apologise!)
