I love my Squeezebox Radio in the kitchen and the control via my Android tablet + Material skin BUT the voice control really would be nice. How does it work? Can I play my local music via LMS and Amzon Echo using voice commands? I thought the Amzon Echo devices donĀ“t play local music. And would I not need do download a specific "Alexa Skill"? And, by searching for the Amazon Echo and LMS, I stumbled across this page https://mediaserver.smartskills.tech/ that sounds as if it does what I want. Anybody knows this? aemneos's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60269 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I know it is probably silly to ask but is there a way to use voice commands with Material/LMS? I am using Material on an Android tablet in the kitchen, especially while cooking. Sometimes it is really annoying to pause or skip a track or to change the volume when my hands are full with grease or flour. Just saying "Pause" or "Next" would be great in these situation. Is there any way to achieve this? I tried the Android Accessibilty voice commands but that doesn't really work well. Btw, thanks fo Material Skin! :-) aemneos's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60269 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes, it is called Kiss FM, but I can't find this on the Internet radio menu (there are lots of other Kiss FM stations though) and on TuneIn it says: "No stream available": http://tunein.com/radio/Kiss-FM-951-s67918/ If you have another link, please tell me. The live stream is here: http://www.kissfm.es/player/kissplayer/index.php Best regards aemneos's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60269 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98946 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Problems playing rtmp stream / PlayReal
Hello! I just tried to listen to an online radio stream but it is not working. :( I am running Logitech Media Server (7.7.2 - r33893) with a Squeezebox Radio. I just installed the PlayReal plugin but using the following URL (which I found on the web) doesn't work: rtmp://kissfm.es.flash3.glb.ipercast.net/kissfm.es-live/aac.stream VLC is also unable to play this stream. However, I found this line on the Internet: rtmpdump --live --quiet --buffer 3000 -r rtmp://kissfm.es.flash3.glb.ipercast.net/kissfm.es-live --playpath aac.stream | mplayer -vo null -idle That works and I can listen to the radio (using the latest versions of rtmpdump and mplayer) Is there any way to make this work via my Squeezebox Radio? Thanks for any help! aemneos's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60269 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98946 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
