Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
Wow! Thanks. I just stumbled onto this - it's terrific. In the same vein, thanks also to the others who generously give their time to develop Squeezelite, LMS etc., allowing us others to carry on using and enjoying such a ridiculously good music system. artee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] SoftSqueeze hi-res file transcoding
Hi, I've recently discovered the joys of SoftSqueeze to play my music on my PC (I love the Transporter/Remote interface). I have a bunch of hi-res FLAC files (in addition to the usual 16/44) These are 24/44; 24/48; 24/88; 24/96. They all play fine on my Transporter, but SoftSqueeze can't seem to handle them. Is there a way to get LMS to downsample them to FLAC 16/44 for SoftSqueeze, while serving them as-is for the Transporter? My apologies if this has been covered before - I've searched, but not found. Thanks for any suggestions/help. garym wrote: Or simply install SqueezePlay on your pc. It plays up to 24/96 natively. Thanks - I had tried SqueezePlay before, but hadn't managed to get it to connect with my library. I've now had another go following your suggestion, and got it connected. Shame about no Transporter interface - but it's the sound that counts...
