Hi all. I am one of the two 'bug reporters' mentioned by expectingtofly.
In case it's helpful, the 'stuttering' sounds to me like momentary disruption to the audio stream - as if the audio is glitching or skipping slightly. It's not regular, it's more random. It's a little hard to describe but I hope that makes sense of it. It doesn't happen all the time - it seems like the stream either has a problem or doesn't. It's not that it's stopping and needing to have 'play' pressed again, and it's not resetting in the middle of a stream - which I would define as either starting at the beginning of the stream again, or pausing for a few seconds and then resuming. There is no buffering shown on the radio, and the breaks or glitches in audio are in bursts of very short amounts of time - much less than a second, for example. I should also say that I am in the US, so if high quality streams are limited to the UK, I won't be getting them. Forcing AAC transcoding to flac on the server under Settings-> Advanced-> File types (per expectingtofly's suggestion) resulted in no stuttering - but as it doesn't happen reliably it's hard to be totally confident that addressed it.
