Hi bpa, this issue I experience is with playHLS, listening live and running LMS 7.9 (latest) on a Windows Home Server machine. This same set up works very reliably playing the same radio station from the home server itself, a Squeezebox Touch or a Squeezebox Radio. I haven't tested the other cases... eiffel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46208 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
First, I'm very happy that this plugin exists... as it is a simple/neat way to extend on an existing LMS system (PIs are good too, but require more assembly/tweaking). So thanks for your great work! Two things I've noticed, which may or may not be fixable: 1. Alarms are not that reliable compared to official Logitech hardware 2. When playing hls streams (e.g. BBC), playback doesn't last very long (sometimes just a few seconds, some times 10s of seconds). With mp3 streams, playback goes on for hours without any issue. 3. Synchronisation (across Chromecast devices and ideally with Logitech hardware) would be fantastic eiffel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46208 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Philippe, I just went through this whole thread (from the beginning) to see if I could fix my issue with getting this plugin to work with WHS 2011... and got it sorted just before reading the very last post (using the same solution):mad::mad: It may be worth adding how to get this plugin to work with Windows systems in the first post to make it easy on others ;) Merci! eiffel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46208 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I must have read too quickly then... The key thing is to _add_squeeze2cast-win.exe_to_Windows_Firewall's_allowed_programs_list_ as, otherwise, this great plugin can't be used with LMS running on a windows machine! eiffel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46208 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
