Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Does Spotty Support Squeezebox Radio Preset Buttons?

2017-10-04 Thread jinja

I am having the same issues with some of the spotty radio buttons.

A bot of a noob question - how do i install the latest version of LMS?

Using Vortexbox 2.4 updated.

I am installing using the following command

dnf install
http://downloads-origin.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.9/sc/d424bbe/logitechmediaserver-7.9.1-0.1.1505480690.noarch.rpm

which seems to go all well, however when I reboot I get a kernal panic
at Switch root.

I have had to reinstall, and tried again and the same thing happened.
Had to wipe and reinstall again. Anything I could be getting wrong? Is
that the correct installation location?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.1.0

2017-07-17 Thread jinja

First off thank you.

Originally using VB2.3 with no joy - upgrade to VB2.4 and works straight
away.

My question, though small, is there a timezone or clock setting that
Spotty uses to identify users timezone and propose playlists.

Spotify used to identify when it was nighttime and accordingly propose
sleepy playlists, though this has now shifted so Spotty is proposing
sleepy playlists in the middle of the day and morning playlists in the
evening.

I am in Australia so can only presume Spotty is accounting for everyone
being in Europe based on the suggested playlists?

Anyway not a big issues (or really an issue at all) though may be
something interesting to look into.

Hm, looks OK to me. Is not seeing any players the only problem you
have? Can you browse your library.
Could you try to play anything on one of the players through the web
interface and see whether that works?

Hi, so the ipeng app states that it cannot connect to server when
shairport is installed and no players available, I can see albums though
I think this is only the cache I can see as I can't look at the
individual songs via ipeng.
All appears to be working on the LMServer and I can see available
players and play music via this interface. It looks likes hair port is
creating some sort of block between ipeng and Lms.

Hm, when you sent the diagnostics mail iPeng was correctly connected to

What exactly does iPeng state? What do you see in the player/server
 list?

What can I say, I'm a little retarded sometimes. I had taken Shairport
off when I sent that diagnostics email - duh. Will reinstall and resend
when I get home later.

Thanks for the remarkably swift responses.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2014-06-18 Thread jinja

Curent setup - Vortexbox running 2.3, Ipeng for Ipad and IPeng 7 - 3 x
Squeezebox classics v3.

I have installed Shairport via the vortexbox gui and this appears to be
interfering with the ability for my ipeng app to connect with the
squeezebox server.

Before shairport / shairtunes isa installed all works well. After when
opening Ipeng no players can be see, won't synchronise.

I have also posted this on Vortexbox forum, though not sure if this is
more an issue between Ipeng and Shairport.

Could the ShairPort setup somehow have failed and your server is not
 running?
If iPeng doesn't see any players it usually means it has a problem
 connecting to the server.
Can you still see and control your players from the web interface? If
yes, please send me a diagnostics mail from within iPeng. Just tap the
 mail link under Help.

Hey there,
The server appears to be working, or at least is on. - I can access the
server via the web gui, though even in this it isn't seeing any players.
I have restrated the server via CLI though still no luck. As soon as I
remove Shairport all back to normal business as usual.
