I just installed the (not so) Sirius plugin on SBS 7.5.1 I am in Canada. I have just signed up for a 7-day trial Sirius account. I set up the plugin accordingly. It can login OK, I see the channels, I can select a channel, the channel logo appears, but no sound. Thank you so much, Neil! But if I may look a gift horse in the mouth... I have a problem with the Light user interface (which I prefer only because it is easy to use with Opera Mobile on my Pocket PC). The login works, as does the Quick Play channel entry, but the Browse buttons don't do anything. I too cannot login with Squeezebox Server. But even when trying to login online, at this address: http://www.xmradio.com/player/home/xmhome.action I can login with my email and my password. But if I go from there to My Account, it asks me to login again with my USERNAME and password, it fails. So, my guess is, the XM web site is in the process of changing their login protocol, and we are being locked out. I edited the Favorite to be my local IP rather thn the public IP given by uXM. Sausage. I downloaded XMRadio V2.0.0 from Slim Plugins by danaronson on SourceForge, and placed the XMRadio folder in the usual location under SqueezeBox\server\plugins. After re-booting the PC, XM Radio Online shows up under Active Plugins, but with the following message Plugin is incompatible with this version of Squeezebox Server. Please update. I have installed XM Radio Online Plugin 3.2 on SqueezeCenter 7.3.3, and it Sort Of works. I have the XM Radio Online menu item under Internet Radio, and I can enter a channel number, like 70 for Real Jazz and 78 for Symphony Hall. Hallelujah! I can also enter the URL like xmradio://70 and add it to my Favorites. What I cannot get working are the Browse Presets/Browse Genres/Browse Stations buttons. When I press those, a useless page opens with Home / XM Radio Online / Browse Presets at the top. I must add that I am using the Light interface so I can control my SqueezeBox Classic from my HP iPAQ and Opera Mobile browser. I am still running SqueezeCenter 7.2.1, and the XM Radio plugin was working until very recently. I could browse genres, etc. But for a few days, Browse Genres brings up an empty list, and even Tune in URL/ xmradio://channel number gets the We're sorry... voice error message. Thank goodness my old Favorites entry still works. Is anyone else experiencing this? [SlimDevices: Plugins] XMRadio Plugin doesn't show in Settings
Ever since I updated to SqueezeCenter (version 7), I can no longer access XMRadio. I downloaded the latest XMRadio plugin from SourceForge (Plugins-XMRadio-Plugin-2.0.0.zip), unzipped it, and placed the folder XMRadio under C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server\Plugins. It is confusing, because I also see all the OTHER plugins under C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server\Slim\Plugin.
