Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Using squeezeboxserver-7.4.1 with iPeng plugin v0.5.4 and a iPod Touch with 3.1 firmware. I don't seem able to control the volume of either my Boom or Squeezebox2 via iPeng. The gray volume up and down arrows just cause the players to show their current volume. I've had some success with MultiPlayer controls but the display of them seems to be corrupt and I don't actually have / want the players synced. I've now disabled MultiPlayer control in iPeng plugin settings but the gray up and down arrows still don't work. Everything else seems to work fine. Any advice appreciated short of buying the iPeng app. Best regards, -- knigma knigma's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1054 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] AlienBBC vs BBCiPlayer plugins
Alien seems to have better Favourite handling of streams, especially with alarms. The only other reason I'd like to keep the Alien functionality over iPlayer these days is that occasionally I encounter other real audio streams and I believe Alien is the only way to play these on my SqueezeBoxes. Do shout if I've got this wrong!! Real Player seems to be in terminal decline so presumably this will become less of an issue over time. -- knigma knigma's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1054 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69588 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Thanks for asking for opinions on this. It would be really good to update the alarm functionality so it can support regular favorites from the iPlayer plugin. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: AlienBBC v1.0 and BBC podcasts
The BBC podcasts are now working with Softsqueeze. Not sure if the Beeb changed something or whether it was my upgrade from Java 1.4.x to 1.5 that fixed it. PS: ref; the best bits - I was only using that stream as an example; please don't think any less of me :) Cheers, -- knigma knigma's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1054 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18406 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] AlienBBC v1.0 and BBC podcasts
Yesterday I upgraded to AlienBBC v1.0 (thanks for this; it's a great plugin!). The BBC podcasts worked well using my SB2. Today I'm using SoftSqueeze 2.2, and none of the BBC podcasts are working (silence and 0% buffer) All I see in the log (with d_plugin) is: 2005-11-21 13:54:09.7176 AlienBBC - Playing: Chris Evans - The Best Bits (http://tinyurl.com/bv4wn) Other AlienBBC streams (both Virgin MP3 and BBC Real Audio) are working fine. Any ideas please? I'll see if the SB2 is still working when I get home. -- knigma knigma's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1054 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=18406 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
