Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] announce: ShairTunes2W - Airtunes on LMS (forked version with Windows support)
I completely forgot to give feedback. Turned out it was a firmware issue on my wlan access point that had a bug. After downgrading AP Firmware, all is good ! [SlimDevices: Plugins] LMS8 and Shairtunes ?!
Hi I am not using shairtunes that often, but sometimes I do (or did). It is for some reason not working anymore here. When I play someting on my ipad, and try to send the sound using airplay to a squeezeplayer I see this: - Display of squeezebox shows that it tries to play - seconds/progress changes for a while, then it "stops playback" - No sound is there at any point in time I dont see any indications of errors in the log, only this: I am runnning ubuntu 20.04 BTW Code: [20-07-13 19:30:18.5203] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::handleSocketConnect (476) New connection from: 192.168.1.244 [20-07-13 19:30:18.5218] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (758) DACP-ID: CFB856ACE2067DA2, Active Remote: 1597458568 [20-07-13 19:30:18.7686] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (758) DACP-ID: CFB856ACE2067DA2, Active Remote: 1597458568 [20-07-13 19:30:19.0655] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (758) DACP-ID: CFB856ACE2067DA2, Active Remote: 1597458568 [20-07-13 19:30:19.1092] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (830) decode command: 'host''192.168.1.244''socket'45595'fmtp''96 352 0 16 40 10 14 2 255 0 0 44100''cport''57721''tport''64320''latencies''1000:2000:f''codec''flc:5''iv''f9880544d97bad85b459b4f59e31d70b''key''122b33c769535328249fd31bab559080''log''/var/log/squeezeboxserver/shairtunes2-00-04-20-12-46-9b.log''dbg''info' [20-07-13 19:30:19.1240] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (848) Helper output: shairport_helper: VERSION: 0.108.1 [20-07-13 19:30:19.1244] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (859) launched decoder: Proc::Background=HASH(0x55d04b5fac00) on ports: 45408/42124/52438/38917, http port: 44677 [20-07-13 19:30:19.1414] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (896) Playing url: airplay://192.168.1.10:38917/15579_stream.flc [20-07-13 19:30:19.1507] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (906) Record from 0, 0 [20-07-13 19:30:19.1512] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.1530] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.1540] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.1549] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.1559] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.1568] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.1772] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.1785] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.1795] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:19.2842] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (978) sending-> vol: 34 [20-07-13 19:30:19.3114] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (978) sending-> vol: 34 [20-07-13 19:30:19.3506] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (915) Flush up to 37978, 3287593136 [20-07-13 19:30:19.5887] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::handleHelperOut (560) From helper: play [20-07-13 19:30:19.5892] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:20.2234] Plugins::SugarCube::Plugin::commandCallback (812) SugarCube is set to DISABLED for this client [20-07-13 19:30:21.3611] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::conn_handle_request (758) DACP-ID: CFB856ACE2067DA2, Active Remote: 1597458568 [20-07-13 19:30:21.4015] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::mDNSlistener (1082) Found remote: CFB856ACE2067DA2, 192.168.1.244:61402 macsat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46905 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112592 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
@Michael Herger Suggestion for a "hack" to fix the issue with music stopping. Most of the times it happens at the end of the song, where the song "keeps playing" beoynd the end, so that if a song is eg. 3:20 min long, it keeps counting beoying this. Can a fix be done, so that it automaticly skips to next song, if the lenght is passed by for example 5 or 10 secs? .or is the plugin basically only queuing songs, and have nothing to do with the playback? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
I seem to get duplicates of albums when the album is availble both locally and added to my music collection in spotify. I did enable "Show only local album if you got another copy in your online music collection. " - makes no difference. I'd prefer to see only my local version, when it is available :-) BR Kasper macsat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46905 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111923 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty - playback stops
I differs gretly when it happens. Sometimes it works for days with not issue, other times (like this morning) it happened 2-3 times within an hour or two. interestingly it was my 4 year old son listening here as well - and he did NOT fail to tell me ;-) Memory and CPU cycles is no issue here, the server it is running on is an I7 with 64MB of RAM. Always the LMS interface. I do have connect enabled. Would it makes sense to disable this? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty - playback stops
Hi I have used spotty for 1+ year now. In general working very well. But sometimes I get playback stops. Very often it is when one song is finished, and it just does not start the next song in the playlist/album. If I pres "next" the next song will play just fine. It is not particular songs that has the issue, seem to happen on random. Very rarely it is in the middle of a song, more often it is when a song is approaching the end. I have sometimes seen it show in iPeng as f.x: "4.01 played of 3.30" - meaning that is is as if it cant register the end of the song. Other times it just stops. Have anyone seen this issue? It happens on multiple players and on different songs (both SB Radio, SB Touch and SB3/Classic Players). It is quite annoying, as I really love my setup, and is moving more and more to spotify as an alternative to local music. I have no network issues, wireless is rock stable and the internet connection is stable as well (been working from home for a few weeks now, so this I know for a fact)., BR Kasper macsat's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46905 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111916 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi I would be very nice to have an option to enable / disable Spicefly Sugarcube (or other perpetual-mix-creater-plugins) from the iPeng GUI next to the "Repeat" and "Shuffle" options. I do use Spicefly Sugarcube somtimes, but sometimes I prefer not to. It is a bit cumbersome to have to go to the player settings and disable / enable this. Would be nice to be able to do directly from the App GUI like Repeat/Shuffle.
