I used to find duplicate tracks in my library that happened to be tracks that had been played on the group player when the group player was still the selected player in LMS. There is no obvious reason why it happened. It would be interesting if you found the same but so far it seems to be only me. Uninstalling the plugin fixed the issue. I think this should be possible but I am not sure how. I have a Topping E30 which shows up as Card 0: 'E30' - Control: 'E30 ' if I click "more" next to the -V option for Squeezelite. If I enter that in the box I can't control the E30 volume in pre amp mode. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong? This might be a waste of time but I thought I would use Deltawave software to compare the Squeezelite output waveforms at a series of volume levels from 100% to 10%. I know volume in the Squeezebox universe is done at 24 bits but where is the output converted back to 16 bits? If I save the output of Squeezelite using FFMPEG (as described in another recent Deltawave thread) I get a 16 bit file so presumably this is the information the DAC receives.
