Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi Pippin, Recently (probably within the last 3 weeks) Spotify (we use the Spotty plugin) stopped working using iPeng on our iOS devices. The progress bar moves but no audio is heard. Other sources - primarily local collection - works fine. Playing on the Squeezebox Radios still work, so it's probably not related to Spotty. Have You seen this behavior before? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spicefly Fingerprint Metadata Extractor (MusicIP can it be reborn?)
Extracted the fingerprints from my collections mp3 files (around 16K files) last night. It had previously stalled for me a couple of times or maybe I didn't let it run long enough. The SFME reported being non responsive. I hope the effort helps a little. soulgazer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18681 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107960 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spicefly Fingerprint Metadata Extractor (MusicIP can it be reborn?)
The SFME failed for me a couple of times before I realized that I should probably run as administrator. Now it seems to work it's way through the 17K MP3's on my NAS. Will look forward to have FLAC added as a later option. soulgazer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18681 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107960 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Smart Mix plugin
I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I would like to be able to define periods (per player) where SmartMix is disabled. Use Case: My kids sometimes like to fall a sleep to music, but I would like the music to stop after the current playlist at nighttime. In the daytime I just want to have the music mixed as usual. In my case I only need one period e.g. from 21:00-06:00, but I can see use cases for more periods also. Obviosly the player shouldn't just resume playing when the "quiet period" is over. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
Hi Triode I can see I have the same problem as al2001 (which I mentioned way back in: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=681213&postcount=3661) - have been testing for quite some time. If I apply the password on the settings page I can perform the selftest without any problems. But successive uses of the plugin from the GUI doesn't work. It might be able to query the first time e.g. for playlists, but when opening a specific playlist it comes up empty. So maybe the helper stops after the first use. If I go the settings page afterwards it says "Helper app running" but it doesn't show the other info like "Logged into Spotify", so I'm guessing it's not quite running after all. I've tried looking at the logs with the different settings, but am not quite sure what I should look for. Please guide me to provide you with relevant information - I would really like to get this working. [SlimDevices: Plugins] KidsPlay - trouble playing playlist
I've setup a KidsPlay macro (Radio preset buton) to start playing a specific playlist, but the playlist isn't played. Setup based on the example on the plugins page. I'm also using a macro for genre playing, which is working perfectly. The playlist is created using the LMS (or actually through iPeng) and stored in the default playlist folder. A favourite has previously been assigned to the preset button in question. When executed it looks like at least some of the macro is run - namely the part clearing the active playlist, so it may be that it's only related to the playlist parsing. At this point i just have the name of the playlist... Does the macro need to point to the full path of the playlist or is it OK to use only the name (as the example seems to indicate). Any help will be much appreciated.
