Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
falolaf wrote: > Probably a silly question, but how do I install this plugin? I can't > find it in the list of plugins on my LMS 7.8.0. > > /Anders Well yes, good question. You install it via the LMS web interface's Settings page, the same way as you do Triode's plugin. It is listed on the plugins page as * Spotify Protocol Handler (v1.0.2)* in LMS v7.8.1 on my Raspberry Pi (Debian) And then you go to Michael's plugin's settings page to enter your password and cause it to run the self-test (I saw no manual test button to press.) But the bit that caught me out is that for the Logitech official plugin you have to login to www.mysqueezebox.com and install the Spotify "app" too. I run my squeezeserver at home with it disconnected from logitech once it's all setup, so I forgot I needed to do this step at first. And make sure you enter you SPOTIFY username and password because it seems to populate the username with your mysqueezebox username by default, so you need to change that before entering your Spotify password. Once all done the GREEN Spotify icon shows up in Home > My Apps on the main web screen. Here is the mysqueezebox screenshot after asking for the Spotify credentials: +---+ |Filename: spotify-app.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=19977| +---+ tricia's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5895 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105187 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: YouTube Plugin
Thanks for this plugin, so cool, just what I needed. It works fine now, but first try with this URL and it just wouldn't add it to playlist or play it. So then I tried your J-Lo test URL on page 1 here and that worked, then I tried my one and it just worked! :) One happy bunny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMxX-QOV9tI -- tricia tricia's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5895 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87731 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
Hi, Is there some more documentation for using the SuperDateTime plugin somewhere? I am using v5.8.14 on SBS 7.4.1 on Ubuntu 9.10 (64-bit) Weather code is UKXX1067 In the SB player settings I have forecast days set to 0 (but previously I played with a value of 4 or 5) Now, I just want 0 days (i.e. today only) BUT on my SB2 (and on my SB3) the Up/Down arrow changes the left hand side icon, the weather icon, as if it's still cylcing through forecast days for tomorrow etc. There are 5 pages of this it seems, and one is totally blank (no time, nothing.) I am not sure if the top one is today or if the bottom one is today. Hence I just want the one, but I cannot seem to configure just one, it's stuck on 4 or 5 it seems. Finally, on the settings page for player there are TWO drop down menu boxes under here: Default Mode Icon Why are there 2 drop downs? I have turned the second one off but can't see any changes. Anyway, don't get me wrong, it's a great plugin and I love it, I just don't fully understand how to configure it. At least I know the temperature and windspeed is for today as the up/down arrows don't change that, they only change the weather icon (is that a bug?) Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] AlienBBC - 7.3.3 - cannot stream?

The above link to flac solved my problem too! :) I upgraded to Jaunty last week and thought I'd move to amd64 bit Ubuntu whilst at it. I'd almost given up getting my ALienBBC to actually produce sound. It worked in all other respects, just no damn sound. Incidentally I was on Squeezecenter 7.3.3 too, but I just upgraded to 7.3.4 before seeing this post. I upgraded by switching from deb http://debian.slimdevices.com stable main to deb http://debian.slimdevices.com testing main I needn't have bothered! :) And thanks for the ia32-libs tip, I was wondering why my SJPhone and super_pi binaries were pretending to not be there. I thought it was a 64-bit issue; now I am sure of it, and I have a solution too! :) Anyway, I can't thank you all enough!!! I was really missing ALienBBC radio! And phew, that looked like quite a tough one to crack!
