Hi, I asked this in the general section, but unfortunately no one responded, so here goes: I guess my problem started after an update of the Tidal plugin + airplay bridge. I have multiple Squeezebox Radios, and currently I can only get Tidal streaming working on one of them. Hi, yesterday I tried with the Material Skin remote, and there it worked - afterwards I tried to press play in OrangeSqueeze, which also worked - strange, unless only a play command was sent, and not the request for playing the specific number. I had the Tidal plugin disabled, and once I enabled it - the player does not disappear anymore, but no sound is being played. After 30sec. the airplay stream stops, but the player seems to playing still in the web interface. woodster wrote: > Hi, > > I have been using the Ickstream plugin to stream from Tidal to the > AirPlay bridge plugin - and it has been working nicely. > Since IckStream is shutting down I am trying to make the switch to the > Tidal app. > > But now when I select the "Airplay player" and select some music from > the Tidal App (Installed in mysqueezebox.com) it "shuts" down/removes > the player. > > Does anybody know what is happening? > > The log shows this: > raopbridge-log.log > [19:51:31.332243] process_serv:485 [0x34e488] switch server > [19:51:31.432795] discover_server:784 [0x34e488] error sending > discovery > [19:51:36.435560] discover_server:784 [0x34e488] error sending > discovery > > server.log > [19-05-08 19:51:31.1110] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > bb:bb:52:fe:33:52: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:31.1323] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > bb:bb:f5:82:6f:a8: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:34.0571] Slim::Control::Request::execute (1888) Error: > While trying to run function coderef > [Plugins::UPnPBridge::Queries::statusQuery]: [Can't call method > "playingSong" on an undefined value at > /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/UPnPBridge/Queries.pm > line 51. > ] > [19-05-08 19:51:39.3445] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:39.3569] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:39.3720] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:42.1395] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > bb:bb:f5:82:6f:a8: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:42.1464] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > bb:bb:52:fe:33:52: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:42.1548] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:45.2186] > Slim::Plugin::SN::ProtocolHandler::_checkAndPlay (148) no players made > it to mysqueezebox.com: aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae > [19-05-08 19:51:45.3472] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:51.3420] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:51.3519] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:51.3651] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:53.0990] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > aa:aa:b5:00:57:ae: request not dispatchable! > [19-05-08 19:51:53.1383] Slim::Web::JSONRPC::requestMethod (455) > bb:bb:f5:82:6f:a8: request not dispatchable! woodster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32688 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105198 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi, I have been using the Ickstream plugin to stream from Tidal to the AirPlay bridge plugin - and it has been working nicely. Since IckStream is shutting down I am trying to make the switch to the Tidal app. But now when I select the "Airplay player" and select some music from the Tidal App (Installed in mysqueezebox.com) it "shuts" down/removes the player. Hi there, I have had a pause in using my Jongo S3X speaker - but tried to use it today after updating the plugin. The player is discovered, an I can start some music or an internet radio channel, but no sound is coming out form the player. Once in a while I can get it to play one song, but then if I select a different channel or number no sound is being played - it looks like it is playing, with the position timer incrementing. Log taken after the S3X profile has been attached, and the plugin has been restarted - no sound is being played. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hi, I saw a strange thing today, where a change i volume made the speaker all quiet - I could not get it to play again - unless restarting the plugin. The log showed the following error - It's a Jongo S3X configured using the predefined profile in the plugin. BTW I think the "profile download link" needs to be updated - pressing this, removes the latest entry of the Jongo... Log shows.. After a quick test the speaker seems to be quite a good bargain. Build quality seems good, nice size, and the sound is for sure OK as a kitchen speaker or for ambient music. @shugg72 Thanks for the report - good to know that the Jongo works with the upnp plugin, I might get one then. Sync is not an issue for me, as it is supposed to be used as a bathroom speaker. What about a second hand duet - if you add a small step-up power converter, you can use the USB 5V in the Jongo as a power supply for the duet. shugg72 wrote: > Hi I could not get the Jongo to work with LMS on my Synology NAS, > however I did manage to get it running on the Macbook with LMS installed > and it works great, its not what I need though as Phillippe advised me > that you can not sync to other squeezebox devices, so for me there is no > point and a wasted effort, I was going to try and use the Chromecast > with thechromecast plugin but alas Phillippe lindly advised me that this > will also not work as I wish ie in sync mode. > > So the only option is possibly a raspberry PI, although this is not > ideal as the only input I have on the Jongo is a 3.5mm and I'm not sure > what the DACS are like on the PI, as it might ruin the sound of the > Jongo, I could add an external Mini DAC between the PI and Jongo but > again this might ruin the sound as it travels through so many sources. > > cheers woodster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32688 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102496 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
Hi philippe_44, well it might be that the users are divided into groups. Those who use the squeezebox eco system, those who use Sonos, and then a group with other systems (bluenote, heos, etc.) Many of those whom I know that use Sonos also started out with airplay speakers, but they left those behind when going the Sonos way. And the ones that still use the airplay functionality in their speakers do not know about the Squeezebox system, or think it is too advanced a system. Well, I can tell that I'm very pleased with your work with the plugin (and the others plugins as well) - these plugins really adds new life to the Squeezebox eco system, and adds many types of extra players, now the original Squeezebox hardware begins to burn out. With 1.0.6.1 I seem to have missing output, it just remain silent. I tried to clear the settings, and generate a new configuration. I tried to change volume for the player, but still no sound. It seems to stream ok, I can see it connect to my speaker. woodster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32688 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105198 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi, today I had an issue where the sound from the bridge stopped - after a while it started again. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
Hi Philippe_44, OK - I haven't been testing the 0.1.0.3-dev-1 version - is it to be preferred over 0.1.0.2? I have changed the settings regarding excluding/searching for players, but other than that I'm using the default settings, and it really works well - in sync and all. Strange that it isn't used by more people - it is a perfect match between LMS, Squeezebox eco system and off the shelf airplay speakers. Previously I have had some duets in front of my active airplay speakers, but now they integrate seamlessly without any extra hardware perfect ; ) I have been off the grid for some time, but if you need further testing/assistance let me know. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] AirPlay bridge: use airplay devices from LMS (experimental)
Hi, A couple of things. - first time sound on, but with the volume all the way down, it was playing insanely loud. Could the discovery make sure to sync volume level all the way down? - I have a Libratone Zipp that is discovered, but cannot be enable, each time I enable it, it gets unchecked by itself. Can't see anything about this player in the log. - I have played a radio stream, where suddenly the sound stops.
