I received an answer from Klassik Radio, which unfortunately is neither informative nor pleasant... Basic statement: Kassik Radio develops software for interfaces that are important, such as Alexa. If there is time, they will be happy to deal with LMS plugins in the future. To provide an account for development within the community will be an option, and they will come back to this offer if they are interested. It drives me crazy - I usually change or add an alternative favorite icon via /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/favorites.ompl like e.g. Code: https://tv.avm.de/tvapp/logos/radio/klassik_radio.png"; text="Klassik Radio" /> Yesterday everything worked! But today... just the default icon from html/images/ and everything I do... absolutely no effect. The display of the icon depends on the interface. While it works in Material skin and iPeng, it does not in Default skin and SqueezePlay/JiveLite (at least not the versions that I tried). They have Sonos integration for the premium stuff so there is a way to do it. They have a 30 day period to try things but anyone building something to link to it programmatically would need a permanent account so that support could be provided. You could contact them and ask what is possible. Their web interface is largely (not exclusively) using JSON and I was able to collect the station list and Now Playing info, via my unfinished plugin, using it. Anyway, with my setup, the icon/program name works actually. 34434 34435 The only downer - the thing with the premium account. Overall, you're right, there is less interest in Klassik Radio around the world. But in the D-A-CH region they have well over 6 million listeners - it is a serious radio station. I started to write a real plugin ... but when I started testing it I realised that they do not have any cover art and they put good meta data into their MP3 streams. So - I then went the easy way ... add this to your Favourites in LMS http://www.dabdig.co.uk/slimserver-rep/klassikradiode.opml or take your own copy of the file and edit it to how you want it and then load it into your local LMS using file:// (I assume that will work) Unfortunately the station icon disappears when the stream is playing. I raised this recently as I think that there should be a way for LMS to keep the station icon when one was provided when the stream was started but the station provides meta data without artwork. I just had a quick look and I think I can make a plugin for that that will list the stations and probably be able to show live track info for what is playing. If anyone else is doing it then please post here to avoid duplicated effort.
