[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: Moose 0.50
I want to say...this is your best release, so far. Great improvement, for me any way. Personally, the type is about right on my screen. Before, it was too large. I am running in a 1280 by 1024 resolution. (which is the native resolution for my LCD screen) Thanks for the work you put into this. It can connect and show currently playing track etc... After removing the bind address line from the mysql settings file, you'll need to make sure mysql is restarted.. Im not sure how it all works on linux, but on windows you can just kill the mysqld.exe process, edit the tt file, then restart the server to kick it off again. You have to do this each time you upgrade slimserver.. The other gotcha is not downloading the mysql connectors for Moose. I think the error message is more friendly for this one though.. Other reasons for problems are firewalls and 'fast scans'.. What's the exact error that Moose gives when you try to start a scan ? Im not sure 6.3.1 supports flac cover tags though ? May be wrong.. Not seen images not appearing in the coverchooser, but appearing in the library for a while. Have you tried an 'update coverart' in Moose ? Incidentally, I've stopped testing with SQLite in recent builds, so if your box can run 6.5.1, it would be worth upgrading.. I've upped them a bit and they look better.. Also the covers tab doesnt seem to do anything. Yeah, work in progress, although Im thinking of ditching that idea and incorporating it properly into the cover chooser.. A couple of other tabs may appear at some point - an orchestral browser, and the jukebox browser.. I think I have asked this before but would it be possible to be able to change the font size of both the now playing and also the playlist font. It looks really small on my HDTV and is about the only thing stopping me from ditching my laptop once and for all. Yeah, keep meaning to add a font-size for the now playing.. -- - Dr Lovegrove Free Moose for all at: http://www.rusticrhino.com/drlovegrove ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: Moose 0.50
Will Moose 5.0 find the cover art in FLAC 1.1.3 picture tags? At the moment I'm running SlimServer 6.3.1 on a ReadyNAS, and I had Moose load the library from SQLite. The cover art shows up on the Library and Tree tabs, but not on Cover Chooser or Covers. I'm assuming that this is because the cover art is not in the FLAC 1.1.2 tags. Is this correct, or is there a way to make this work with FLAC 1.1.2? Thank you Dr. Lovegrove. -- jeffmeh jeffmeh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3986 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=30547 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
