Hi Michael,

I found the settings and tried to change the binary settings a couple of
times and then put the settings to default (automatic chosen) and then
restarted the LMS and this tricked the LMS to be able to play music from
Spotify again :D - The automatic settings chosen now are the "muslhf"
version - which was the settings before I played around with the binary
settings - no logic here, but it worked.

Thank you for your support - much appreciated.

In Settings/Advanced/Spotty you'd see what binary you're using. There's
probably a dropdown with different versions available (eg. spotty-hf,
spotty-muslhf, spotty...).

Did you consider using pCP instead?... for whatever reasons m2p causes
more issues than even Windows...

It does. Thanks! It probably doesn't in your case, but all too often I
would need to know which mode users are using and they don't tell me.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty: Can not login in Spotify

2018-04-07 Thread derider

Hi, Also using Max2Play at a RPI2 with same LMS version - just did an
update including the spotty module version v2.3.1 and after this I could
not log at Spotify via LMS - then I retyped the login creditials and I
could then log at spotify again, but the slim players (Squeezebox) and
Hifiberry soundcard only play noise which sounds nasty. When playing
noise the Logitech webinterface says "Ogg Vorbis (spotify) converted to
PCM" - not sure it did this before this update. Right now I'm not able
to use Spotify together my LMS :(

Don't know if it means anything, but I don't use the Spotify connect
function - only control the LMS via app's and web interface. Tried to
see if some sound output setting is wrong since I don't think the sound
should be converted to PCM, but can't find anything about it.
