Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty with ReplayGain
Thanks, this was helpful. After some additional experimentation, I found that it also works when playing to a group of synced players. mavit's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10203 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112390 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty with ReplayGain
I don't think that replaygain works (fully ?) with Spotty if you're using the native OggVorbis support. If you disable spotty -> OggVorbis on the FileTypes menu, the stream will be transcoded to FLAC and then it works OK. tw99's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=51684 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112390 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty with ReplayGain
When listening to a Spotify playlist containing recent recordings and recordings from the eighties, there’s a clear difference in volume. All of my players are set to “smart gain”. When playing back local files, the volumes are similar, so I think this is a Spotify-specific problem. Additionally, for each player I have ReplayGain enabled in the Spotty options. (Aside: It took me a while to find this option, and I’m not sure that it’s helpful for it to exist. I feel like it should default to on if ReplayGain is active for the player) I notice that running “ps” mentions “spotty --enable-volume-normalisation …”, which seems correct. Any ideas? Does anyone have this working? mavit's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10203 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112390 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
