I'm running SC on my freeNAS box, is it possible to run TrackStatiTunesUpdateWin.pl from there? If so, what's the command syntax? The script calls the iTunes application to do the update, it doesn't write directly to the iTunes library files. There is currently no way for a third party application to write directly to the iTunes library files due to Apple restrictions. I assume this isn't the file you are trying to import to iTunes, this is a backup file from TrackStat not an export file which can be imported to iTunes. To get the export file, you will need to have the Custom Scan plugin installed and perform an export on the iTunes Statistics Export scanning module in SqueezeCenter Settings/Advanced/Custom Scan. This works fine with Custom Scan. Many thanks ! Is Custom Scan a new plugin for Squeezecenter ? A year ago, I was only using the Trackstat pluging and was able to import my stats without any problem. Maybe I was lucky... Hi there, I've just installed TrackStat (2.0.beta08). I've set up a .bat file in order to import my stats in itunes. Seems like you do everything correctly. I'm guessing that you have installed ActiveState perl ? It might be the space character in the path you enter as parameter that causes the problem. Are you sure the Hist file really contains something that needs to be exported to iTunes ?
