Oh ok, so this is an LMS issue, not MusicInfoSCR issue, my bad.
Surprised this never got fixed.

This can be also seen in Material Skin. All my Mac programs are telling
me that the files are 320kbs but LMS is telling me that they are
319kbps.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR 4.4.0 - customize your alarmscreensaver

2021-06-27 Thread Pete7874

Has anyone noticed that when displaying bitrate in MusicInfoSCR
(4.4.12), it is sometimes off a little? For example, for most of my 320
Kbps MP3 files it displays 319 Kbps instead. Is it because it
calculates bitrate by dividing total file size by duration instead of
maybe reading bitrate from some tag?

Anyway, no biggie, just wondering.

Thanks!

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR 4.4.0 - customize your alarmscreensaver

2009-06-13 Thread Phil Meyer
It seems that Trackstat is responsible for the m-symbol. When I
deactivate Trackstat, the symbol does not show up.

Any plugin that provides mixers will show the m symbol next to items that are
mixable. Press and hold the play button to see the options available.

With TrackStat, that means you will get the option to see stats on the item you
choose. Eg. browse to a genre, press and hold play, and you will see TrackStat
statistics for that genre, so you can select to play songs that have a high
rating within that genre, for example.

No, definitely not. Do you have some third party plugin installed (besides
MIS)? Don't you see this with MIS disabled?

- Don't you see this with MIS disabled?-

When MIS is disabled, the m-symbol still appears. So it is not related
with MIS, I think.

Since I updated to the current version of MusicInfoSCR, I get a small

What does that mean? How do I get rid of it?

This has nothing to do with MIS. It's displayed on items which are mixable

ok, it is not so important.

One point:
When the playlist is empty, also in the 'Off' option 'Nichts' is
displayed

Argh... correct. The title formatter method is expecting some track
object. Therefore I'm using some dummy content if there's nothing. I'll
have to come up with something more intelligent...

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR 4.4.0 - customize your alarmscreensaver

2009-06-07 Thread mr_hyde

Hello Michael,

thanks, that's great.

BTW,
i've got a question regarding the 'off' option.

Would it be possible to change the position of the CurrTime inbetween
the three horizontal sections of the screen?

Background is, that i use one Squeezebox in the sleeping room as alarm
radio. Most of the time, the CurrTime is only displayed in the center of
the screen. Even with brightness on the lowest level, i can see a
degradation of this displayarea. By moving the Currtime between the 3
Areas (e.g. every hour,...), this problem could be reduced.

Do you see any chance to implement such an option, or is it already
possible with some settings?

Well, it's configurable in Settings/Player/MusicInfoSCR. You can put it
anywhere you want.

Thanks for fast feedback.

Nevertheless, i mean it in an automatic way

- The screensaver changes it automatically (e.g. every hour) from one
section to the next.

As written, the reason is the quality of the display that degrades with
time, when you mainly use CURRTIME in one line in the center of the
screen as Alarm Clock.
