I managed to get rid of the errors in the log by retagging the files. Would still have been interesting what the tags looked like. I might have found a solution to prevent such labour :-). Is there a way to backup my recipes? Can I backup some file? You do backup your LMS prefs folder, don't you? I tracked it down and this was the bad data song name:
(You Need Meat) Don't Go No Further (Bonus Track)
I changed the title to:
You Need Meat - Don't Go No Further (Bonus Track)
Cleared the log and rescanned - that song passed but I got another error
on another song title that started with a parenthesized phrase. I
changed that one in the same fashion then cleared and rescanned. The
corrected song passed but I got another error on a another song title
that starts with a parenthesized phrase.
That's got to be the problem!
Before I debug 45,000 song titles - I'll wait to hear something from you
concerning a possible fix.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] iTunes synchronization in a Mac
Hi, I Was about to get Erlands plugins in order to synchronize iTunes and LMS, but documentation saps only Windows iTunes is supported. Can anybody confirm synchronization works fine in Mac using Trackstat and Custom Scan? In my scenario both, iTunes and LMS, are running in t'he same computer but with different music libraries (use flac with Squeezebox). Hi, ive migrated my LMS from QNAP to FreeNAS and LMS is working fine (unbelievable FAST!) but i have problems with TRACKSTAT. The old Trackstat-data is used (i can use my old Ratings) but the Backup Function is not working anymore. I set the folder to 777 (only for testing) but it didn't help.
