Re: California Republican Arrested for Voter Fraud
Why is everyone so concerned about voter fraud, when the elections are the biggest fraud in history? A country of three hundred million people are going to cast a vote in an election that has been already been decided in the media by big business. The ruling elites are putting their support behind Obama because he is foolishly considered by many voters as an alternative to the policies of the Bush administration, when he represents no such thing. Voter fraud, it’s makes no difference whether you vote or not, or have you forgotten what happened in 2000? Don’t forget to vote, it’s your democratic right. PS The witchhunt launched against ACORN is pathetic gutter politics of unsubstantiated BS, showing how fucking desperate the GOP is. Forget it, its done and dusted, the decision is made. Please note, this isn't the first time there have been serious problems with GOP-gathered voter registrations in CA, as outlined recently at Alternet. Re: California Republican Arrested for Voter Fraud
The arrest of a GOP voter registration recruiter on the eve of California's registration deadline has outraged the state's Republicans, who now say California's secretary of state, a Democrat, timed the arrest to distract the public from ACORN's voter fraud scandals. Mark Jacoby, 25, was arrested this weekend for allegedly falsifying his own voter registration by fraudulently claiming his parents' Los Angeles County address so he could legally gather voter signatures in California. Secretary of State Debra Bowen's office alleges Jacoby did not live at the address, thereby perjuring himself and committing a felony for falsely claiming voter eligibility. If convicted, Jacoby faces up to 3 years in prison. Hector Barajas, communications director for the California Republican Party, however, told WND that the charges are bogus, claiming that while Jacoby travels the nation working on voter registrations, his childhood home is still his home. "He still has his car payment that comes into his parents address, he still has his bills that come into his parents address and he files his taxes here in the state of California," Barajas said. "It begs the question … where else is an individual supposed to register to vote?" Further, California Republicans are charging that the arrest of a GOP voting registration worker is a deliberate attempt to distract the public from the abuses of the more Democrat-friendly Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. California Republicans released a statement that reads, "It's clear that Bowen, herself the recipient of an ACORN endorsement (still displayed on her campaign website), has elevated these issues to achieve maximum political benefit and deflect attention from the Democratic Presidential nominee's high-profiled problems and associations with the radical community activist group ACORN. Re: California Republican Arrested for Voter Fraud
This hardly reaches the level of ACORN: ONTARIO, Calif.—The owner of a signature-gathering firm has been arrested on suspicion of voter registration fraud, authorities said Sunday. Mark Anthony Jacoby, who owns the firm Young Political Majors, is accused of registering himself to vote twice— in 2006 and in 2007— using the address of a childhood home in Los Angeles where he no longer lived. The Secretary of State's Office said Jacoby used the address to meet a state requirement that signature-gatherers sign a declaration stating that they are either registered to vote in California or are eligible to do so. - http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_10762949?source=most_emailed On Oct 20, 7:36 am, "[ the last patriotic Republican ]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > California Republican Arrested for Voter > Fraudhttp://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/103690/ > Another report of Republican-related voter registration problems > surfaces in California. California Republican Arrested for Voter Fraud
California Republican Arrested for Voter Fraud http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/103690/ Another report of Republican-related voter registration problems surfaces in California. Yesterday the Los Angeles Times reported on the Republican voter registration outfit who had allegedly been illegally changing thousands of registrations from Democratic to Republican. Last night the head of that GOP backed group, Mark Anthony Jacoby of Young Political Majors (YPM), was arrested by the California State Election Fraud Taskforce and the Oxnard Police. According to California Secretary of State Debra Bowen's press release, Jacoby himself had committed voter registration fraud and perjury by lying on his own voter registration form. (That's similar to what Ann Coulter did, though she not only committed felony voter registration fraud, she also committed actual voter fraud, as well, even though such fraud is exceedingly rare.) It was my pleasure to break this story today on Fox "News" of all places! Thanks to VotersUnite! editor John Gideon for getting it posted as I was on the roll towards the studio. I'll have the video up of my appearance on Fox, and the "Fox News Alert" I was able to do, later tonight.
