[new] vifm

Hi,

a small port for vifm, a ncurses based file manager with vi like
keybindings.

Works fine for me on i386, it's rather basic but may be useful to
someone..

cf http://vifm.sourceforge.net/docs.html for default keybindings.

port is here : http://gcu.info/~gaston/ports/vifm.tar.gz

Comments ? Ok ?

NEW: graphics/py-pyx

2007-11-19 Thread Laurence Tratt
I have made available a port of the PyX Python graphics creation library at:

  http://tratt.net/laurie/obsd/ports/py-pyx.tar.gz

From the blurb:

PyX is a Python package for the creation of PostScript and PDF files. It
combines an abstraction of the PostScript drawing model with a TeX/LaTeX
interface. Complex tasks like 2d and 3d plots in publication-ready quality
are built out of these primitives.

Basically, it creates graphics, and farms them out to TeX for rendering
(with all the associated goodies that implies). It's not perfect (it does
die occasionally when calling TeX), but it's mostly OK; the results it
produces are of excellent quality, particularly when compared to the often
rather random output from py-matplotlib.

Tested on amd64 and i386, both -current. I welcome reports from other
platforms.

So if someone is already working on this, please tell me because in this

I think you're confused ;)

EOG: http://www.gnome.org/projects/eog/
GTHUMB: http://gthumb.sourceforge.net/

If you're reffering to the commit message when gthumb was removed
(something like use eog instead), my guess is that it was just to
point people to another image viewer.

Yes Gthumb and EOG are not the same project. Gthumb seems to have more

Hi,

here's a small update to gajim-0.11.3:
http://blarzwurst.de/openbsd/gajim.diff

Changes: http://trac.gajim.org/browser/branches/gajim_0.11.2/ChangeLog

Works for me on i386.
Patch for src_config_py isn't needed as it was fixed upstream.

Though make lib-depends-check gives me the following:

WANTLIB: expat.8 (/usr/local/lib/gajim/trayicon.so) (system lib)
Extra: expat.9
WANTLIB += expat
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/ports/mystuff/net/gajim (line 1662 of
/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk).

though I'm running snapshot November 15th
and my ports tree is up to datea.
Don't know if that's a local issue.

Please test and comment/commit.

Thanks to viq for pointing me to the update!

[update] telephony/asterisk - 1.4.14

2007-11-19 Thread Stuart Henderson
- update to 1.4.14 (many code improvements and fixes,
  some through valgrind testing)
- add h323 FLAVOR (build must be manually restarted;
ohphone can connect, light i386 testing only for this)
- remove upstream-merged patch

http://svn.digium.com/view/asterisk/tags/1.4.14/ChangeLog?revision=89343view=markup

tested on sparc64, i386.

any comments (other than what drugs were they on when thinking
up the h323 build procedure and where did they get them)?

ok?

Re: math/gnumeric and graphs

2007-11-19 Thread Antti Harri

On Sun, 18 Nov 2007, Antti Harri wrote:

after upgrading from 4.2 to snapshot (packages ~ Nov 3) Gnumeric
doesn't display graphs anymore. They are visible
in the graph's property editor but not in the sheet
itself. Anyone else having same problems?

How to repeat:

create a sheet with cells, for example:

1 10
2 11
3 12

Select them and hit the Insert a Chart button,
then Insert and make a rectangular area which
finishes the graph.

I get this to my terminal:

$ gnumeric
gnumeric:/usr/local/lib/libpcre.so.2.0: /usr/local/lib/libgoffice-1.so.0.0 :
WARNING: symbol(_pcre_utt) size mismatch, relink your program
gnumeric:/usr/local/lib/libpcre.so.2.0: /usr/local/lib/libgoffice-1.so.0.0 :
WARNING: symbol(_pcre_OP_lengths) size mismatch, relink your program

I updated packages (FTP timestamp nov 18, gnumeric-1.6.3p0) and problem is
still there.
