When does a program or library move from ports and packages (http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq15.html#PkgVsPorts)? That's because there are no packages available as of now... There are for 4.9. cryptopp wasn't correctly added to the ports tree until June this year. If interested, attached is a patch I use to add linker hardening. I apply it against Crypto++'s source tree (which should not be too different from OpenBSD's copy). -z relro and -z,now mitigate GOT and PLT attacks, while PIE adds ASLR (I'm not clear if its a stock setting for OpenBSD). Thanks Jeff, I will have a look at it. Make sure to conditionalize PIE on architecture; it's not supported on hppa/arm yet.

dnet fragment offset
Hi, When using the dnet command-line tool, the fragment offset should be limited to 0xfff8 but the actual limit was 0x1fff. Add a missing shift to support fragments for big IP packets. ok? bluhm Index: net/libdnet/Makefile === RCS file: /data/mirror/openbsd/cvs/ports/net/libdnet/Makefile,v retrieving revision 1.29 diff -u -p -r1.29 Makefile --- net/libdnet/Makefile16 Sep 2011 11:13:38 - 1.29 +++ net/libdnet/Makefile17 Sep 2011 19:58:52 - @@ -7,7 +7,7 @@ MODPY_EGG_VERSION=1.12 DISTNAME= libdnet-${MODPY_EGG_VERSION} PKGNAME-main= ${DISTNAME} PKGNAME-python= py-${DISTNAME} -REVISION-main= 2 +REVISION-main= 3 REVISION-python= 3 SHARED_LIBS= dnet1.0 Index: net/libdnet/patches/patch-test_dnet_aton_c === RCS file: net/libdnet/patches/patch-test_dnet_aton_c diff -N net/libdnet/patches/patch-test_dnet_aton_c --- /dev/null 1 Jan 1970 00:00:00 - +++ net/libdnet/patches/patch-test_dnet_aton_c 17 Sep 2011 20:02:29 - @@ -0,0 +1,14 @@ +$OpenBSD$ +http://code.google.com/p/libdnet/issues/detail?id=17 + +--- test/dnet/aton.c.orig Mon Oct 14 17:42:10 2002 test/dnet/aton.c Thu Jan 20 03:26:57 2011 +@@ -86,7 +86,7 @@ off_aton(char *string, uint16_t *off) + } else { + i = strtol(string, p, 10); + if (*string == '\0' || (*p != '\0' *p != '+') || +- i IP_OFFMASK) ++ i (IP_OFFMASK 3)) + return (-1); + *off = htons(((*p == '+') ? Re: NEW: lang/boo
Hi, * Reworked patch-default_build - (FYI - submitted changes upstream, which were accepted, to make this patch obsolete in future releases) * Updated port to depend on antlr3 instead of antlr2 Sorry for all the updates. Please let me know if there are any questions or comments. Thanks, Ryan On Sat, Sep 10, 2011 at 3:53 PM, Ryan Boggs rmbo...@gmail.com wrote: Moved MESSAGE back to README. Sorry for the confusion. It is a Python style language for the Mono/.NET platform. Some notes: * Port relies on NAnt * The tests for boo are not working due to missing test dependencies in Boo's source tarball. I've let upstream know of the issue. So for the time being, No_Regress=Yes. * Added README file to warn about issues with booish and non-color terminals.
