import GNUstep SQLClient framework:

The SQLClient library is designed to provide a simple interface to SQL
databases for GNUstep applications. It does not attempt the sort of
abstraction provided by the much more sophisticated GDL2 library but
rather allows applications to directly execute SQL queries and

SQLClient provides for the Objective-C programmer much the same thing
that JDBC provides for the Java programmer.

shell script ran a minute later. Is this because of '@option

I read DESCR, and still don't understand why it's done the way it is
done.

I think run_depend would be more transparent solution here IMHO. If
installation fails for any reason user will not see this, he needs to
check syslog to see what happen. Executing script with pkg_add(1) from
at(1) looks simple at first sight, but if something goes wrong.

Maybe MESSAGE during install? Some people may get surprised 'what
happen' or 'when that happen' after simple pkg_add sis-gnome.

First thing, this package is intended for little sisters. They don't
have meta-physical questions like that.

Second, at(1) mails root about what it did, so no need to check syslog.

Third, RUN_DEPENDS only ports are forbidden, ask espie@ about that.

Update is probably going to be a bitch.

Go ahead, write a meta-pkg for gnome. I'm not sure it will fare so good with
updates.

Then again, with manual installs, it might be slightly better off than it
used to be.

But hey, when you run into library updates issues, it might take a while
until I fix the darn bugs.

That's because there are no packages available as of now...

There are for 4.9. cryptopp wasn't correctly added to the ports tree
until June this year.

If interested, attached is a patch I use to add linker hardening. I
apply it against Crypto++'s source tree (which should not be too
different from OpenBSD's copy). -z relro and -z,now mitigate GOT and
PLT attacks, while PIE adds ASLR (I'm not clear if its a stock setting
 for OpenBSD).

Thanks Jeff, I will have a look at it.

Make sure to conditionalize PIE on architecture; it's not supported
on hppa/arm yet.

dnet fragment offset

2011-09-17 Thread Alexander Bluhm
Hi,

When using the dnet command-line tool, the fragment offset should
be limited to 0xfff8 but the actual limit was 0x1fff. Add a missing
shift to support fragments for big IP packets.

ok?

Hi,

* Reworked patch-default_build
  - (FYI - submitted changes upstream, which were accepted, to make
this patch obsolete in future releases)
* Updated port to depend on antlr3 instead of antlr2

Sorry for all the updates. Please let me know if there are any
questions or comments.

Thanks,
Ryan

 Hi,

Attached is a port for the boo language (http://boo.codehaus.org/).
It is a Python style language for the Mono/.NET platform.  Some notes:

 * Port relies on NAnt
 * The tests for boo are not working due to missing test dependencies
in Boo's source tarball.  I've let upstream know of the issue.  So for
 the time being, No_Regress=Yes.
 * Added README file to warn about issues with booish and non-color
 terminals.

Please let me know if there are any questions/comments.

If ok, can someone please commit?

 Thanks,
 Ryan
