Hi,

the default python version is 2.7, so you can install python 2.7.

Python 2.5 vs 2.7

2011-12-21 Thread James Hozier
I'm not sure which version to install. This Python script I have
requires at least version 2.5, but I'm not sure whether I should
just install 2.5 or if 2.7 would be "better" (i.e. more stable?)
than 2.5. Which would be considered more stable?

BTW, I'm seeing some rendering issues on i386 and amd64 with a NO_ASM-compiled
rice-video plugin (stuff like characters facing the wrong way or text not
being drawn properly when a dialog window is updated).

So I guess we should try the other video plugins, too.
But let's try to get this into CVS first.

I see. I didn't realise there were tarballs on bitbuckt with proper
version numbers stamped on them. I thought it was only possible to
get a tarball of some revision hash.

Thanks for your input! Attached is a new version that should hopefully
be fine.

WebP is an image format that does lossy compression of digital

NEW graphics/rawtherapee

2011-12-21 Thread Kirill Bychkov
Hi.
RawTherapee is a RAW image processing application.
This port has a bug - find panel is closing some menu buttons. Same bus is
under windows. If someone could help to solve this, this would be cool.

RawTherapee depends on libiptcdata, library for manipulating the International
Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC) metadata stored within multimedia
files such as images.

Tested on amd64 with Pentax RAWs (PEF).

use smaller distfile for net/coccinella

2011-12-21 Thread Sebastian Reitenbach
Hi,

attached patch does not do changes to the package. Just using a distfile which
is only a third of the size of the distfile used before.
Since no change to the package, no bump.

OK?

Used this to watch a few 3gp videos of our son that my wife shot with
her Android phone, and it worked well: ok for me.
