It is designed to be very efficient by issuing a very small number of system calls, as one generally wants to update such a status line every second. This ensures that even under high load, your status bar is updated correctly. Also, it saves a bit of energy by not hogging your CPU as much as spawning the corresponding amount of shell commands would. ok dcoppa@ Status: Vendor Tag: jasper Release Tags: jasper_20120205 N ports/x11/i3status/Makefile N ports/x11/i3status/distinfo N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-i3status_conf N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-man_Makefile N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-src_print_ip_addr_c N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-src_print_ipv6_addr_c N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-src_print_cpu_usage_c N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-src_print_disk_info_c N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-include_i3status_h N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-src_print_volume_c N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-src_print_cpu_temperature_c N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-src_print_battery_info_c N ports/x11/i3status/patches/patch-Makefile N ports/x11/i3status/pkg/DESCR N ports/x11/i3status/pkg/PLIST No conflicts created by this import

On Fri, Apr 27, 2012 at 4:31 PM, David Coppa dco...@openbsd.org wrote: Hi, This is my diff to update print/acroread to the latest version. Before this can go in, our compat_linux needs to be patched for PROT_GROWS{DOWN,UP} flags handling (see my other mails on ports@). Dunno if Paul does want/has time to do it, otherwise I can try by myself... Besides the issue above, acroread-9.5.1 works very well: I've openend one of those giant redbooks from IBM and all the major functionalities (search, zoom in, zoom out, links, etc. etc.) appear to work just fine. Here's a new (final, I hope) revision: - Remove more useless cruft from the acroread script - Install .desktop files and icons in the right places - Install the acroread.1 manual page (groff is needed, lots of errors from mandoc -Tlint) CIAO, David acroread-9.5.1_rev2.diff.gz Description: GNU Zip compressed data
removing devel/rsvndump
I will remove devel/rsvndump within a few days unless somebody objects. It is redundant -- the same functionality exists in devel/subversion. If you are using rsvndump please consider switching to the 'svnrdump' command shipped with Subversion.

[update] libmp4v2 1.9.1
Hi, so i wanted to update easytag and now it needs a newer libmp4v2.. which changed homepage/maintainers/moved headers around/etc.. so here's a diff updating it, and 3 diffs to fix the consumers (gtkpod, faac, daapd). mediatomb builds fine with that updated libmp4v2 so no diff for it. I'd like real users of daapd/gtkpod/faac to report whether it breaks nothing for them.. so far only build-tested @amd64. I don't know how the storage problem is solved. I've removed FreeBSD there. +# Since we override install: it's possible to use gnu-style +CONFIGURE_STYLE = gnu generally it's better to use the upstream install target, CONFIGURE_STYLE=gnu dest sometimes helps. Didn't. with hand-rolled do-install new files are often missed in version updates, but I guess this is not a big problem with this particular port. Nah. But you never know, the author is (or at least his forefathers were) compatriot(s) of Dracula. That's kind of frightening. +# These are redundant, but be explicit for now +CONFIGURE_ARGS = --with-x --enable-shape leave those out, it's just the --disable / --without lines that you really need to list explicitly. Did so. (In fact i guess it was wrong since --enable-shape should then include WANTLIB=Xext.) +do-install: + ${INSTALL_PROGRAM_DIR} ${PREFIX}/bin + ${INSTALL_MAN_DIR} ${PREFIX}/man/man5 no point creating these, they're already created from the mtree Hmmm, so i did. + ${INSTALL_PROGRAM} ${WRKSRC}/ahwm ${PREFIX}/bin/ + ${INSTALL_MAN} ${WRKSRC}/ahwmrc.5 ${PREFIX}/man/man5/ I'd rather have 'man ahwm' working, so I would either keep the link or if you're only going to install it under one name, make that ahwm. Re: update graphics/blender to 2.63
Hi -- Blender now broken on mips64el. During build, at 95%, I get the following error: cc1plus: out of memory allocating 199488 bytes after a total of 0 bytes *** Error code 1 So blender joins firefox and some others as being too big to compile on loongson at the current ulimit hard cap of 1G. Additionally, I found a binutils error on mips64el with audio/openal (ld fails) while building blender 2.63 Thanks. ~Brian
