Re: Nginx fails to start : SSL erro without SSL use
2012/8/29 Stuart Henderson s...@spacehopper.org Yes, this is a special purpose one, the easy-rsa scripts use the '-config' option of openssl where necessary, it's not intended to be copied over the system openssl.cnf file. You can find a clean one in /usr/src/lib/libssl/openssl.cnf (if you have installed the source tree) or via cvsweb at http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/lib/libssl/openssl.cnf?rev=1.1 Nice, It works fine! Thank you very much.

update: graphics/freeglut
Update for freeglut, triggered by a rough diff from Azwaw OUSADOU. Some symbols have been added, but there is also a size change - Major version bump Instead of fixing the demo programs and documentation, disable both since they are not considered for installation anyways. Tested with crack-attack on amd64, compile tested on i386 and sparc64. While here, take maintainer, update WANTLIB and allow it to find freetype. I'm not sure it's a good idea, I would recommend to make it a flavor (which no one except CDE would depend on). that would be problematic - if something else depending on openmotif were to be built first in a bulk build, it would then not be possible to install openmotif, xprint in order to build cde.. Hmm, I thought bulk builds were smarter than that. If not, ignore me. They're not. Solving such constraints would be a big toll on the overall timing optimizations. However, these days, since bulk builds will eventually remove unused packages (the junk stage every ~200 ports or so), stuff with incompatible flavors would probably manage to get built anyways... it might just not parallelize correctly, the build system would not optimize around it, and it still requires user intervention. I'm not saying this is completely undesireable, just that there are already enough surprises with a simple build system that we definitely don't want to throw this kind of extra complexity in the mix...

Attached is a new port for spiped-1.2.0. Tested on amd64. pkg_info below. Thanks. Information for inst:spiped-1.2.0 Comment: utility for creating secure pipes between socket addresses Description: spiped (pronounced ess-pipe-dee) is a utility for creating symmetrically encrypted and authenticated pipes between socket addresses, so that one may connect to one address (e.g., a UNIX socket on localhost) andtransparently have a connection established to another address (e.g., a UNIX socket on a different system). This is similar to 'ssh -L' functionality, but does not use SSH and requires a pre-shared symmetric key. spipe (pronounced ess-pipe) is a utility which acts as an spiped protocol client (i.e., connects to an spiped daemon), taking input from the standard input and writing data read back to the standard output. The immediate port that comes to mind is textproc/calibre; according to http://calibre-ebook.com/about it has a built-in ebook viewer that can display all the major ebook formats, and on their FAQ at http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq.html , MOBI is one of the formats it's supposed to be able to convert, so hopefully that means it can also view it. :) Having said all that, I've never been able to get calibre to start for me on recent snapshots (it always segfaults on my amd64 system). I'm still trying to investigate if it's just my own system but I've not had time to poke further. Anyway, hope this information helps you. :) Lawrence

I haven't done much with it, but calibre seems to work. At least it's plowed through a bunch of .mobi files I just got. I thought I'd looked enough but calibre escaped me. It's great that the ports tree is big enough that hunting doesn't always find whats out there. --STeve Andre'
