Update lang/jruby 1.7.6 - 1.7.9
This updates lang/jruby to the current version, fixing some bugs. See release notes at: http://www.jruby.org/2013/11/14/jruby-1-7-8.html http://www.jruby.org/2013/12/06/jruby-1-7-9.html Portwise, this drops the downloading of the -src tarball. The port used to download both the -bin and -src tarball, even though the -src tarball was only used for the tests. The src tarball stopped working for running the tests with ant, and the maven-based tests require download tons of packages at runtime, so they can't be used. I've punted and set NO_TEST=Yes, with a marker to run the tests for the databases/ruby-sequel,jruby port (which I've recently fixed to run on JRuby). That's probably a more extensive test suite anyway. This also sets the #! lines correctly on the jruby bin files. Not critically needed since they are generally run via jruby -S, but it's better to be correct. One regression between 1.7.6 and 1.7.9 is they are no longer shipping the gem specification for for rake, which resulted in jruby -S rake breaking. I've worked around that by copying the rake gem binary over the rake shim (same with rdoc/ri). I'll try to get that dealt with upstream before the next release. Tested on amd64 and i386. I plan to commit this later this week unless I hear objections. Thanks, Jeremy Index: Makefile === RCS file: /cvs/ports/lang/jruby/Makefile,v retrieving revision 1.40 diff -u -p -r1.40 Makefile --- Makefile26 Oct 2013 23:41:04 - 1.40 +++ Makefile16 Dec 2013 20:41:38 - @@ -4,12 +4,11 @@ SHARED_ONLY = Yes COMMENT = pure-Java implementation of the Ruby language -V =1.7.6 +V =1.7.9 DISTNAME = jruby-bin-${V} PKGNAME = jruby-${V} CATEGORIES = lang lang/ruby DISTFILES =${DISTNAME}.tar.gz \ - jruby-src-${V}.tar.gz \ jnr-jffi-1.2.2-0-g4c196bb.tar.gz:0 \ jnr-posix.20130822.tar.gz:1 \ ${JRUBY_LAUNCHER_GEM}:2 @@ -50,9 +49,10 @@ ANT_CMD =${SETENV} ${MAKE_ENV} PATH=${J JFFI_HOME =${WRKDIST}/jffi JFFI_ARCH =${MACHINE_ARCH:S/amd64/x86_64/}-OpenBSD FFI_ARCH = ${JFFI_ARCH:L} -RAKE_V = 10.1.0 +RAKE_V = 10.1.0 +RDOC_V = 4.0.1 JRUBY_LAUNCHER_GEM = jruby-launcher-1.0.19-java.gem -SUBST_VARS = JRUBY_HOME JFFI_ARCH FFI_ARCH RAKE_V +SUBST_VARS = JRUBY_HOME JFFI_ARCH FFI_ARCH RAKE_V RDOC_V post-extract: mv ${WRKDIR}/jnr-jffi* ${JFFI_HOME} @@ -61,12 +61,16 @@ post-extract: cd ${WRKSRC} mkdir jruby-launcher \ cd jruby-launcher tar zxf ../../data.tar.gz \ rm -f ../../data.tar.gz + cp ${WRKSRC}/lib/ruby/gems/shared/gems/*/bin/* ${WRKSRC}/bin/ do-configure: ${SUBST_CMD} ${WRKSRC}/jruby-launcher/jrubyexe.cpp \ ${WRKSRC}/jruby-launcher/unixlauncher.cpp cd ${WRKSRC}/jruby-launcher/ ${SET_ENV} ${MAKE_ENV} \ ../bin/jruby extconf.rb + perl -pi -e '$$. == 1 s|^.*env j?ruby.*$$|\#!${LOCALBASE}/bin/jruby|;' \ +-e '$$. == 1 s|^.*bin/j?ruby.*$$|\#!${LOCALBASE}/bin/jruby|;' \ +-e 'close ARGV if eof;' ${WRKSRC}/bin/!(*.*) do-build: cd ${WRKSRC} ${LOCALBASE}/bin/zip -r lib/jruby.jar jnr/posix/ @@ -96,14 +100,8 @@ do-install: ln -s 1.8 ${JRUBY_HOME}/lib/ruby/gems/shared chown -R ${SHAREOWN}:${SHAREGRP} ${JRUBY_HOME}/lib -ANT_TEST_CMD = ${SETENV} ${MAKE_ENV} HOME=${WRKBUILD} \ - PATH=${JAVA_HOME}/bin:${PATH} \ - ANT_OPTS=-Xms512m -Xmx512m \ - ${LOCALBASE}/bin/ant -TEST_DEPENDS = devel/ruby-rspec/rspec,jruby \ - devel/maven -# Tests run: 363, Failures: 7, Errors: 11, Skipped: 0 -do-test: - -cd ${WRKSRC} ${ANT_TEST_CMD} test +# JRuby doesn't ship tests in the binary distribution +# Try running the database/ruby-sequel,jruby tests after an update +NO_TEST = Yes .include bsd.port.mk Index: distinfo === RCS file: /cvs/ports/lang/jruby/distinfo,v retrieving revision 1.22 diff -u -p -r1.22 distinfo --- distinfo26 Oct 2013 23:41:04 - 1.22 +++ distinfo16 Dec 2013 17:50:51 - @@ -1,10 +1,8 @@ SHA256 (jnr-jffi-1.2.2-0-g4c196bb.tar.gz) = xK/m48Z/YA+fg4yFJqcRxceFnT0F98y255Ju9eSE7b0= SHA256 (jnr-posix.20130822.tar.gz) = kXV0idWCYw/iRsDSwJdvAL3IjU9L/gEvuD9b9Rt2UYk= -SHA256 (jruby-bin-1.7.6.tar.gz) = FqZMVjGf7TTsh3zxUfJzXGBFer5sc9ncMsVszlKwzkU= +SHA256 (jruby-bin-1.7.9.tar.gz) = x6zQnJMpQfBOIx1D9HYG6ytqLWiYrj3JfdQy3PFQGCQ= SHA256 (jruby-launcher-1.0.19-java.gem) = Hgd9U6dYh1HV85FrIy5WUoy0nehO8sQD74QRhhJuqWI= -SHA256 (jruby-src-1.7.6.tar.gz) = 02irsUwxUrQPh9Z7C5eNYy5dAar9TTh627PLmQLDOv8= SIZE (jnr-jffi-1.2.2-0-g4c196bb.tar.gz) = 1759433 SIZE (jnr-posix.20130822.tar.gz) = 141316 -SIZE (jruby-bin-1.7.6.tar.gz) = 19991052 +SIZE (jruby-bin-1.7.9.tar.gz) =
