Re: update devel/p5-Class-Date
On 2014/11/10 00:55, Alexander Bluhm wrote: On Sun, Nov 09, 2014 at 10:25:30PM +, Stuart Henderson wrote: 50_timezone.t fails one test for me ..: # Failed test 'tzdst' # at t/50_timezone.t line 20. # got: 'CET' # expected: 'CEST' # Looks like you failed 1 test of 11. I cannot reproduce this. For me this subtest was broken: is $date2-tzdst, 'GMT', 'tzdst'; but your setup fails in: is $date1-tzdst, 'CEST', 'tzdst'; After looking into /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/perl/util.c I have found a better solution. - update p5-Class-Date to 1.1.15 - take maintainer - sort according to Makefile.template - use POSIX::strftime() which handles the time zone correctly - remove XS for strftime() and disable dynamic linking ok? I like that. I have a different failure now though.. # at t/50_timezone.t line 26. # got: 'BST' # expected: 'GMT' ... and, if I take t/50_timezone.t from Class::Date 1.1.15 and run it using 1.1.9 (or using 1.1.10 which fixes the deprecation warnings), it does pass successfully, so this is a regression. So the test is basically doing this: take a time of 2002-05-04 00:01:02 CET check that the non-dst timezone is called CET check that the dst timezone is called CEST check the epoch date is correct convert to GMT (UTC+0) check that the non-dst timezone is called GMT check that the dst timezone is called GMT - fails for me check the epoch date is still correct I guess this is somehow connected with the overloading of GMT as both a timezone name in its own right (/usr/share/zoneinfo/GMT which is UTC+0 all year round) and as one of the two timezone names used to display times in /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/London i.e. GMT in winter, BST in summer. Ports should not set their own unless the standard system ones don't work (e.g. due to compiler optimizer bugs). done - don't hardcode /usr/local. easiest way is to pass in ${LOCALBASE} via MAKE_FLAGS (otherwise you need to patch and use SUBST_CMD). done - don't strip shared libraries (-s in LDFLAGS) done - BUILD_DEPENDS on libowfat ... hmm ... ah I see, there is no shared library for libowfat. If it's not possible to produce a shared lib, then gatling would need a REVISION bump whenever libowfat is updated. It is a design decision by the developer of gatling to make libowfat static. I don't want to break his design here. I will keep it in mind to bump the REVISION by libowfat updates. Thanks, Jan gatling.tar.gz Description: application/tar-gz
dpb -r results
Just for the heck of it, I ran the last amd64 bulk build with -r (random build order) to see what dependency problems would fall out. I'm happy to report that almost nothing did. devel/mingw picked up gawk (fixed now), and that's it. Also, the build took only fractionally longer than usual. -- Christian naddy Weisgerber na...@mips.inka.de

NEW: graphics/ploticus
Hi ports — Attached is a new port, graphics/ploticus. pkg/DESCR: Ploticus is a scriptable utility that can produce various types of plots and graphs. Data input is usually csv files or text files such as used with sort, awk, etc. Output options are GIF, PNG, PostScript, SVG and some others. HTML imagemaps are supported. Ploticus can produce just-in-time plots in dynamic web content systems, or in batch production settings. Ploticus strengths: * variety of standard graphs and plots supported * lots of control over minutae of displays, graphical elements, labelling * production-oriented features eg. automatic cropping of output images * fairly flexible, semi-automatic legends * pretty good clientside imagemap support for tooltips and clickthru * work with numeric, categorical, date and time data * some statistical, curvefit, summarizing, and data manipulation capabilities built-in * small footprint, fast performance * both vector (PS, SVG) and raster (GIF, PNG) output formats with decent consistency * full documention and lots of examples available Lots of examples available at: http://ploticus.sourceforge.net/gallery/index.html This is my first port. Comments and feedback are welcome. - Eric ploticus.tar.gz Description: GNU Zip compressed data
