Bleeding Edge Mono fails to build

/usr/ports/pobj/mono-2.10.6/mono-2.10.6/runtime/mono-wrapper --debug
./../../class/lib/basic/culevel.exe -o System.Web/UplevelHelper.cs
UplevelHelperDefinitions.xml

...and then nothing. Sits there forever.
Any work around/fix/solution/anything?

for now, ^C and restart the build.
