*Job Description:*



Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to
understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of
quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business
and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural
standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for
designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting
application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes
recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing
code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data
architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy
versus build recommendations. Has experience in systems analysis, design
and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration
methodologies. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.



*Experience Required:*



   - BS in Computer Science or equivalent
   - 4+ years of data analysis / data mining experience (SQL, Elastic
   Search / ELK, Splunk, Hadoop, Tableau, etc )
   - 4+ years of scripting experience (Javascript, python, bash, etc)
   - 1-2+ years of basic database administration (Elastic Search and
   Logstash strongly preferred)



*Skill Requirements:*



   - Strong proficiency in working with time-series databases: reading and
   writing queries, designing tables and indexes, data summarization and
   archiving
   - Experience with running a database: estimating usage, sizing out
   deployments, configuring clustering, load balancing, fine tuning
   performance, and similar operational concerns
   - Excellent understanding of string manipulation and regex techniques
   for processing unstructured data from multiple sources
   - Javascript proficiency a plus



*Responsibilities:*



   - Operate Elastic search and Logstash infrastructure - ensure 100% uptime
   - Develop Logstash configurations for indexing and storing data
   - Develop Elastic search queries for retrieving data
   - Work with team members to make Elastic search data consumable by apps
   / services
   - Analyze Elastic search system performance and scale the cluster up as
   needed



*General Skills Required:*




   - Git, Linux, ssh,
   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Role Summary:*



The Digital Metrics & Analytics group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst
to join the Digital Service Bureau team that supports the metrics needs of
the Digital Storefronts and Digital Exec (CDO)

This position will create solutions using Tableau and SQL, and will be
responsible for the design, development, integration, and monitoring of
Digital Metrics Dashboards

The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to leverage both
advanced technical and analytical methods to analyze, evaluate, and present
valuable insights to all stakeholders

The role requires working directly with business leaders to understand the
business problem and deliver solutions that will continue to improve the
digital business



*Responsibilities:*



   - Develop, implement and maintain Tableau analytical dashboards to
   support business and IT groups across the Digital organization
   - This includes customer analytics, web & channel analytics, marketing
   analytics and omni channel analytics
   - Work closely with business partners to gather requirements and
   understand the question at hand
   - Rapid Tableau development
   - Communicate findings (the story) back to the business
   - Work both independently and with other analysts and project managers
   to deliver rapid solutions in a very agile team
   - This is a very fast-paced, agile team
   - Candidate must be proficient working in this model
   - Large program experience not a benefit!



*Required Skills:*



   - Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams
   - Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or
   equivalent technical training
   - Masters in Data Science desired
   - 1+ years Tableau development experience
   - Experience with SQL development -  MariaDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
   - Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
   - Excellent interpersonal skills
   - Ability to work independently to resolve complex issues
   - Demonstrates strong problem solving abilities
