*Position 1:* *Position Title: Networks Security – Firewall* *Location* : *Carson City, Nevada* *Duration: 6+ months* *Job Description: * Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, Cisco ASA Summary Checkpoint Firewall Engineer supporting an Enterprise Network Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant work experience in CISCO PIX/ASA, Checkpoint and Juniper Netscreen firewall engineering and administration. Responsibilities: Configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure, working with Checkpoint/Juniper. Manage the firewall deployment, rules migrations, and firewall administration. Responsible for converting existing rule base onto new platforms. In depth knowledge and certifications on Checkpoint/Juniper. Thoroughly familiar with CISCO PIX/ASA, Juniper, Checkpoint models, capabilities, and architectures Fully versed in the syntax of security platforms, and rule verification Engineering experience designing and deploying large scale LAN/WAN networks Ensure that notification is sent to all Stakeholders for required changes/upgrades Represent the changes at the weekly change review meetings and update network diagrams and all other applicable documents. Strong hands on experience with Checkpoint and Juniper Firewalls. Demonstrated hands on experience with configuring firewalls and managing issues. Strong knowledge of network protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, VLAN, TCP/IP, etc.). Experience securing a large inter network establishing and enforcing policies and monitoring access. Required Skills: Checkpoint, Juniper, CISCO PIX/ASA Firewalls Rules and Policy Pushes Firewall Administration Qualifications: At least 5 years’ experience deploying, configuring, and administering Checkpoint/Juniper firewalls.
