Yeah, I know.
See, I use Quick Silver to launch apps so I don't really need Dock, but
I put apps there for this very reason. There are only limited number of
apps I need for this, like Preview and Adobe apps as well as coding tools.

But these are just attachments, too. So are you saying that only
particular attachments get trashed? Hmm, further examination required...

Hmm... good suggestion. :) Though the desired app is not always sitting

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who is having this issue. Just
started on Thursday or Friday. Only difference is that I haven't been
able to trace it to any particular email address.

Yall,

On several occasions I've found myself wishing it were possible to right-
click on an attachment and do an "Open with..." via a different
application other than the default (e.g. an audio file into QT Player
rather than iTunes). In situatio

IME, the attachments themselves are deleted, but the html junk that Tony
is referring to are not. Little smileys and cute little gifs are left
behind which have to be trashed individually.

In my experience, when messages are deleted from the PM trash, any
attachments are trashed (into the Finder's Desktop Trash) as well.

The same also happens when the PM Applescript "Delete Message
Immediately" is used on an e-mail.

Do you really want this or are you joking? If so I can forward it from
my web mail. I can't extract it from PM because it never got in to PM!

Email me privately if you want me to send it to you.

While I like your feature request, in above case I just drag the file
from the message to the QT icon in the Dock :-)

I'm not getting these, could someone please send me one, in an attached
source if possible. You can get to the messages source with the script
"Show source in Textedit", courtesy of Cheshirecat (with a slight
addition here) :

Show Source in TextEdit:

--***scriptcode***

tell application "PowerMail"
set theMessages to current messages
repeat with msg in theMessages
set s to source of msg
tell application "TextEdit"
make new document at the beginning of documents with
properties {text:s}
end tell
end repeat
tell application "TextEdit" --this tell block may be removed
activate
end tell
end tell

--***end scriptcode***
