Fwd: Re(2): Copying HTML text
Jérôme - Thanks for responding. I'd posted this question after not being able to use shift-click on a message. While I can wish people would follow email standards and include a proper text version, evidence is that this will be less and less common. I hope a fix will turn up. - Winston Weinmann PowerMail Engineering wrote: Winston Weinmann wrote: Increasingly I get HTML formatted emails that do not have a text version. Copying HTML text
Increasingly I get HTML formatted emails that do not have a text version. It is very difficult to copy text from an HTML email in PowerMail. The normal click, hold, and drag the cursor does not work to select HTML text. I can usually double-click and select one word, or triple-click and select a line. Very occasionally I seem to be able to select a paragraph. This makes it very hard to copy info from an HTML message. My workaround is to open the email in my web browser, which then always lets me select text as I want, but this is not very user friendly. Is there any better way to select HTML text in PowerMail? Thanks. - Winston Weinmann PowerMail v.6.2 build 4666 on Mac OS 10.4.11, PowerPC
