Yes. It is $699 for the pro license. You get to build as many solutions for as many clients as you see fit. Just like the VFP license It is free to try out. Check out SPARK. It's open source, works well for me. Local server you set up on your own Linux box. Windows clients are stable. Mike Client likes FB messenger but does not want to friend coworkers. The software developer has stated emphatically that they will only support SQL Server and are encouraging all their users to switch to Azure eventually. I offered, but they had no interest in my opinion. [image: MailTag] Slack - they have both free and paid versions. The real limit that we have seen is that the free version doesn't keep as much history but for most, it works just fine. What would you do?
A client may be forced to convert his legacy foxpro software to something commercial and currently commercially supported by the manufacturer. My client would prefer to keep it as is, but the decision may be out of his hands. Open source is probably out too. There is no software currently on the market that will do what he does the way he does it. What would you do? The system is relatively simple, has to support 100 simultaneous users, has to be at least as secure as Foxpro, and run from a internal server. Id love something that works like Foxpro, I.E. a DBMS package with a powerful programming language, and is easy to learn.
