*Education/Experience: *



BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a
related field of study and typically 9 or more years' related work
experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.



*Knowledge and Skills: *



Minimum of 9 years of experience in software programming.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing multi-threaded windows
application software in C#/.NET in Visual Studio and WCF or WPF. Minimum of
5 years of experience using an iterative and agile development methodology.
Excellent attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication
skills Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent time management skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical
skills

·         Develop, document, implement and maintain architectures, designs,
requirements, algorithms, and interfaces for software systems.

·         Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

·         Development, documentation, implementation and maintenance of
software components/applications in order to meet customer, functional,
and/or regulatory requirements, quality objectives, and constraints
specific to the applicable domain and available technology. Ensures
application of best practices. Mentors less experienced employees.

·         Provides technical leadership to support project management
including schedules, plans, and estimates. Prioritizes tasks and lead
reviews. Assists project managers with risk management and progress
reviews. Develops corrective action plans.

·         Develops Computer Software Component (CSC) software requirements
and algorithms. Defines external interfaces. Leads Computer Software Unit
requirements trade studies. Performs CSC requirements change assessment.
Supports requirements team lead in negotiating CSCI (Computer Software
Configuration Item) interfaces and requirements.

·         Reviews statements of work, conducts estimates and manages risks.
Translates business and system requirements into work requirements,
processes and tasks. Participates in the development of fundamental
approaches to projects and requirements for implementation.

·         Leads development, maintenance, peer reviews and unit tests for a
software Computer Software Configuration Item (CSCI) by utilizing software
development environments and programming languages in order to implement
design and satisfy allocated requirements. Leads code walkthroughs. Has
experience with the Agile development process.

·         Develops/decomposes, documents and maintains designs for a
software Computer Software Component (CSC) consistent with the defined
architecture and requirements/regulations by applying established methods
and practices. Participates in internal and external design reviews.

·         Supports integration/test efforts of complex systems, applying
comprehensive knowledge of system domain areas to resolve complex
integration issues. Mentors less experienced team members performing defect
investigations. Creates overall integration plans.

·         For all phases of the software life cycle: leads development,
selection, tailoring and deployment of processes and tools; and utilizes
regulations and industry standards. Leads process reviews.

·         Exercises considerable latitude in determining research
directions. Leads proposal efforts for particular domain areas and
technology transfers. Mentors less experienced engineers. Pursues new
research opportunities with internal and external organizations.

·         Provides subject matter expertise on resolution of regulatory and
domain operational and integration issues to customers, suppliers,
application users, and other technical and support personnel. Supports
issue resolution for specific software systems.
