This SERVER module provides a user role (such as "sales" and "IT support") chat function to Prosody. A typical usage is to implement LIVE Help/Support, or click to chat (such as http://chatwith.me/role=supp...@role.xmpp.com?topic='an XMPP problem' ) with an XMPP user account on SERVER side.
You may treat this module as a special MUC of XMPP and use it as an MUC template. When you chat with a role account, such as sa...@role.xmpp.org, technically you and the role players are in a dynamically created MUC, which is only accessible to you and the target role players. BTW, a few people can play the same role.
