[PEDA] : Junction Printing Error

2004-06-23 Thread Paolo Morgano
Hi,
  in DXP 2004 when I print (or export to DXF) a schematic document, wire
junctions disappear in printed document. It doesn't happen with manually
placed junctions, but onli with auto-junctions.

Is it a bug or I can set up DXP to print all junctions?

 Paolo

[PEDA] : Naming Busses in DXP and 2004

2004-04-20 Thread Paolo Morgano
Hi all,
  using busses in a multichannel project, following tutorial's (Peak
Detector) naming strategy, I got a strange warning: the NET LABEL on the
bus become underlined and have different warning description listed below.

- probing warning on schematics with mouse pointer I can read: UNCONNECTED
OBJECT ON NET
- navigating warnings in Messages window I read: UNCONNECTED NET LABEL

However design is correctly compiled and nets are well connected. In the
example prjt I can't see this warning.

My connection scheme is:

PORTS (sheet symbol) - NETS -BUS- NET - PORT(sheet symbol,
REPEAT(VIN, 1,3))

V1     HV1 --
 \
V2     HV2 --== HV[1..3] == ---   HV  - REPEAT(HVIN)
  /
V3     HV3 --

Does anyone have the same proble and/or knows hoe to fix this warning?

Thank,
  Paolo

Re: [PEDA] : DXP -- 2004 upgrade

2004-04-20 Thread Paolo Morgano
I installed on server the 2004's license server only. The license key is a
different file for 2004, so you should not have collisions.

However, I keep DXP on a client pc, but in standalone (no network)
installation.

 You don't have to remove DXP, that much I know. It is indeed a new
 installation. How the licenses will be handled, I don't know

[PEDA] : Changing Variant Properties in DXP

2004-03-30 Thread Paolo Morgano
Is there in DXP a way to change variant related properties of one component selecting
it from schematic document or can I edit it in Variant window only ? I mean, can I
select a group of component in schematic and tell DXP to 'exclude them from any
variant'?

Bye,
Paolo

 side.  Is anybody interested?

[PEDA] Exporting BOM

2004-03-26 Thread Paolo Morgano
Hi all,
  is there a 'language refence' to create Excel templates for BOM's exporting?

In the example template included in altium templates there are cells containing
strings like

  Field=DataSourceFileName
  Field=ProjectFileName
  Field=Title
  Column=Description

Is there a guide to these interface strings or a rule set to create them?

Paolo
