Dupa ce moldovenii brasoveni si-au batut joc de ursul carpatin, acesta s-a suparat foc si a decis sa-si ceara azil politic in Elvetia.
---------------------------------------------- GENEVA (AFP) - The brown bear has returned to the Swiss Alps, more than a century after it was last seen in the country, officials said. ADVERTISEMENT Two park rangers in the southeast of the country observed the bear on Thursday on the Ofen mountain pass, near the town of Tschierv, the Swiss National Park said. After days of reports from local inhabitants, it was the first confirmed sighting of the bear, which is thought to have wandered over from the adjacent Stelvio National Park in neighbouring Italy. Bears officially disappeared from Switzerland in 1904, when the last sighted specimen was shot by hunters in the same southeastern region. The European brown bear, a protected species, can weigh up to 200 kilogrammes (440 pounds). Bears from Slovenia were reintroduced to Italy's northeastern Trentino region in 1999. The animals are also present in Austria. In recent years, wolves have returned to the southern Swiss Alps after moving north through Italy and France, while the Lynx has been reintroduced in the northern Swiss Jura mountains.
