Chad if you are working with out a control surface,
assuming your  vocal track is sending to the aux with your delay,
put your aux track in automation and select it.
now when the transport is engaged press “shift-M” to toggle the mute on and off…

Nick, to your second question,
go to setup-playback engine
increase your H-W-buffer size.
also look at your disk playback…
To the first question,
supertap2, or 6taps mod will do what you want.

Chad what I do is,
create an Aux track.
I then send the vocal to that track.
Put the effect on the Aux track and use the automation on it.
I’m sure there are other methods but this works for me…

Hi, First I am wondering if any delays allow you to tap out both the
timing of the delay like you can do with a tempo and the number of times
the delay is repeated?  Second I have found that when I open up sessions
on 10.10 using the internal audio system the sound sounds kind of fuzzy
but if I open up the same session with no plugins the audio sounds fine if
I use 10.9 has anyone else had this problem?  Nick Gawronski

Hi Kevin,

The parameters don't work in the RTAS version.
Like I said in the past with my Control/24 everything is accessible except the 
button to move the corrected notes to the bad ones! :(
It may be a different story in pt 11 but I still haven't moved my work flow 
completely to pt 11 yet.

What about maxing out delay compensation? Or does that only kick in for mixing? 
 With the exception of the MacMini 2012 and up the RAM on any mac where its not 
saldered to teh board is pretty accessible. But unless you know what you are 
doing you may want to take it to a certified apple repair place so it will 
atleast be warranted.
