 The problem with midi files is its just Data saying which notes to
trigger and velocities and etc. There is no actual sound to them so
there is no way to preview them outside of an app with samplers or
synths that have sounds that the note data mapp to for triggering. You
will probably end up having to use something like the workspace in Pro
Tools or one of the browser in logic with an appropriate instrument
selected.

OT: Komplete Kontrol question

hope it's ok to post this here. I was wondering if with the Komplete Kontrol 
keyboard you're able to also control the audio effects within the software 
bundle. I'm particularly interested in GuitarRig.

it is not a valid PT format.
Is there an accessible App to play MIDI on the Mac? Just to check it before
inporting  into PT?
