Birmingham City University: Exploring Novel Technology for the accessibility of DAW, Looking for collaboration with Visually impaired creatives

2022-12-12 Thread christi k
Hello,

I would like to invite you to an exciting new study as part of my PhD. My
research explores interactive approaches with DAW and accessibility. More
specifically, I am exploring the use of vibrotactile feedback as a tool
that offers an alternative modality from the screen readers and facilitates
the use of DAW, such as the interaction with audio effects parameters.

My aim is to work closely with visual impaired used that have DAW
experience and collaborate in the design, testing and implementation of a
new haptic system.

If you are interested, please let me know at christina.karpod...@bcu.ac.uk
, and I will provide more information about the proposed study and aims.
Feel free to forward the email to anyone that might be interested.

Thank you in advance,

Christina Karpodini,

PhD student

Birmingham City University
